Welcome home! This 60s-era condo has been modernized while still keeping the classic mid-century feel. It's large, quiet, and has all the comforts of home. (Due to many inquiries, we want to share that: **we are already booked for Labor Day 2015.**)
BEFORE YOU BOOK/INQUIRE:
-- If you're new to the site, please make sure you have verified your phone number, added a profile picture, and completed your profile with a few sentences about yourself. If you don't have the above, we'll ask you to complete these items before accepting your request.
-- Minimum stay is 3 nights.
-- Cleaning fees are included in the price.
-- Our pricing is updated as is our calendar. Note that in some cases, holiday and special event pricing applies; the default price Airbnb shows is the lowest nightly rate. Some of our rates are higher for big events (because we are *so* close to the action!) =)
-- Please send an inquiry if you are local before booking.
-- No smoking and no pets allowed.
We have a 24 hour doorman on staff, so checking in is seamless and can be done on your own schedule.

-- Laundry: we have a combo washer/dryer in the kitchen (Euro-style). It is ventless, which means it doesn't dry well and is probably best used for hang-dry articles. We do all of our laundry in the basement of the building, which has a large laundry room. You have access to this as well, and washing is $1.25 per load and drying is between $.75 and $1.25 per load, depending on which machine you use.

Interaction with Guests
We generally do not interact in person, however, Ben lives in the condo building and is there should anything come up. We are very responsive to messages and will do our very best to make sure you have a great stay!
Across the street from Georgia State. Walk EVERYWHERE:

Great spot to be for travelers to games (Falcons, Hawks, Braves, Tech, GSU, Final Four, etc.), business (hotel and conference centers are within a few blocks), or fun (accessible to all downtown and midtown have to offer!).
We are 3 blocks from MARTA, Atlanta's light rail/metro system. It's a 25 minute ride to the airport ($2.25), a 5 minute ride to Midtown, and a 10 minute ride to Buckhead.
The condo is also right next to the on-ramp for I-75/85 and I-20, so getting around by car is also very convenient. See the last picture for a map with walking times from the condo to places of interest.
Other Things to Note
-- The sunroom is open to the dining room, but can be made private by pulling the curtains. It is very sunny and bright, with floor to ceiling windows. The view is of the garden and pool a few floors below, with downtown Atlanta just across the street.
-- All utilities included: gas, water, trash, electricity
-- Note: Patio is open year round - pool is seasonal and is usually open from Memorial Day to September, but depends on the weather.
- Our space is for residential use and is not for social gatherings or parties.
- No smoking of any kind inside the building.
- Please be nice to others in the building as they are a part of our community.
- Guests must register with the building, so please check before having guests over that are not on the reservation.
Please leave the condo clean and tidy. What does this mean to us?
- Taking out the trash.
- Loading/starting the dishwasher.
- Stripping the bed and piling the linens – we will take care of these for the next tenant.
- Leaving the place generally as you found it.
For every tenant, we provide fresh linens and a thoroughly cleaned space. We thank you in advance for helping us out with this! If you would like a full service cleaning upon check out, it can be made available for an extra $50.
Condo building rules:
- No pets.
- Condo quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am (although with cement walls, it is very hard to disturb the neighbors or be disturbed yourself).
I came to Atlanta for a conference, instead of booking at the main hotel, I opted for AirBnB. Erin and Ben are extremely organized: The guest handbook on the coffee table describes all that I needed to know. Ben, who stays in the same building, but a different apartment, came and helped me move luggage into the condo. I am very thankful that Erin & Ben were flexible with check-in, since I had to come earlier than the written agreement. During the stay, Erin & Ben were prompt in responding to my questions. Since I had the apartment to myself, I didn't get to see Ben during check out. (Erin was out of state during my stay.) This is a beautiful condo, and it was kept neat and clean for the guests. I bragged about it to all my friends who stayed at the main hotel.
Great place to stay. Awesome location with walking distance to a lot of Atlanta's main attractions. Ben and Erin's apartment is lovely and very comfortable.
really great little condo... MARTA station is just a few blocks away and this will get you to anything you want to see.. we were in town for the dogwood festival, which is a pretty busy time and we were able to get to midtown with ease... the condo is just as pictured with everything you need to feel as if you are "home"... the pool was not open while we were here but looked like a nice spot to hang out. the condo is well insulated and we did not hear others coming and going... I found Atlanta to be a very clean city with lots and lots to do... Georgia Aquarium and World of Coke are less than a mile from the condo, definitely walkable.. Ben was accessible by text with questions or recommendations.
Our stay was perfect. Everything was clean and lovely upon arrival. Absolutely no problems of any kind while we were there. Lovely touch to leave us a bottle of wine. Much appreciated -- I would definitely stay here again!
Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Ben empfangen. Er hat uns alles gezeigt und Tips für Restaurants gegeben. Das Appartement ist sehr modern und genau so wie auf den Bildern. Es war alles sauber und gepflegt. Für zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder ideal. Der Standort ist perfekt um Atlanta Downtown ohne Auto zu erkunden.
Einziger Nachteil sind die Lärmemissionen der hinter dem Haus gelegenen Autobahn.

About the Host, Ben And Erin
Erin got a job at Airbnb (!) and moved to San Francisco! She completed a PhD in economics in 2012. Ben earned an MA in applied linguistics in 2013 and teaches English to non-native speakers.
We are friends who have worked, traveled and lived together. In 2010, we bought an abandoned condo in Erin's building and fixed it up. It has amazing views of Atlanta and is a perfect home base for business or pleasure travel. After Erin moved out to California, she was able to put her Atlanta home on Airbnb as well.
About Erin: She's lived in Indiana, Australia, DC, Atlanta and now San Francisco, and has traveled to 5 continents, 31 countries and 46 states. She likes traveling, geography/maps, math, yoga, trivia, spreadsheets, golfing, football (Go Colts!), and animals (dogs especially). =)
About Ben: He's lived in DC, Northern Virginia, Massachusetts, Southern California, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and Atlanta. He likes people, travel, running (head over to the Beltline while you're here!), biking, and spending time at the Chesapeake Bay.
