A great home-base for exploring all that the wonder that is Napa. Within a 5 to 15 minute walk there are tons of great restaurants, and tons of wineries are within an easy drive. The house is very nice, just as pictured and the backyard is fantastic for grilling a steak from the Oxbow market (15 minute walk, 5 minute drive) and eating outside on the deck. Some quirks of staying in a 100+ year old house, but once you get those figured out you can sit back and enjoy all Napa has to offer.
Lisa's house is an amazing location to be in when visiting the wine country. It's walking distance to some of the coolest restaurants in downtown Napa, and a short drive to most of the wineries and Michelin-starred restaurants in Yountville.
She is very thoughtful and considerate - starting from where to find most things inside the house, to leaving basic things like coffee beans and snacks in the kitchen, and providing her restaurant recommendations. We were two young couples so the house was perfect for us.
The only thing that threw us off a bit was that despite having 2 bathrooms, there is really one where you can shower - there isn't a shower head for the tub. We worked around that and loved our time at the house! It was so cozy that we considered staying an extra night! We would definitely consider staying here again next time we come for a vacation. Thanks Lisa!
What a positively adorable home! The highlight of my long weekend in Napa were the breakfasts in the backyard during the chilly mornings. Clean, well maintained, centrally located, it's the perfect place to experience Napa.
Lisa's place was in the perfect location to downtown Napa, within walking distance to everything. The place was well equipped with all the amenities and a fully stocked kitchen which, unfortunately, I did not take advantage of as we were eating out all the time. The backyard space was lovely too. I felt very at home and comfortable.
Lisa was a wonderful host! Her home was perfect for our Napa vacation. The area was quite and within walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. The back deck provided a tranquil area to enjoy morning coffee and evening cocktails. The home has a fully stocked kitchen with spices, coffee and tea. Thanks we truly felt welcomed!
Elaine, thanks very much for your review and for coming to enjoy Napa in the summer. We have had back to back reservations all summer long and are now checking into the hot water heater. Thank you for letting us know that you experienced lukewarm water at first. We hope that when you return to Napa you will think of us and in the meantime, enjoy the rest of your summer. Take care. Best. Lisa
Lisa was a wonderful host. The house was extremely warm and welcoming and we loved and enjoyed everything about our stay. Lisa made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was sweet to leave us some wine, sodas and even milk and cream for our morning coffee. We highly recommend this B&B!
Beyond our (email hidden)is home is truly a sweet home! My family and I loved our stay in Lisa's house. The house is so well appointed with everything from comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, wonderful patio/deck,a large nicely landscaped backyard, to all the little touches that make you feel at home (fresh flowers and fruit, excellent reading material, great music, and so much more)!
Location wise you are very close to Napa's downtown dining and shopping, but the house itself is in a quiet neighborhood...perfect for morning and evening strolls. On a morning walk we saw the launching of numerous hot air balloons, which was quite a sight! Overall it is a very pleasant area with good access to both Napa and Sonoma Wineries.
I highly recommend Lisa, she is an excellent host who responds promptly to all inquiries, is very organized, easily accessible and provides guests with a thoughtful manual filled with local recommendations and other helpful information.
