Interaction with Guests
I have a few houses in Charleston and I bounce around when needed. Other than that I try and stay out of your way. I'm laid back and enjoy traveling and meeting people so feel free to contact me about things to see and do while in Charleston!
Riverland Terrace is one of the most popular in the area. It is centrally located between Downtown and Folly beach. The neighborhood is covered with beautiful ancient live Oaks. With a short walk you will find shops, The Pour house (music venue) Terrace Movie Theater, and a few good restaurants. The neighborhood is located on the Charleston municipal golf course and one block from my house there is a farmers market on Sundays. There is also a boat ramp down the street that goes into Charleston harbor.
There is public transportation, however I would recommend garbing a cab or having a car.
Other Things to Note
I am currently rebuilding my sailboat and it will be available for Charter soon!
No smoking inside the house and sorry no pets. Please be respectful of the neighbors other than that enjoy your vacation!
Joseph was very responsive via text and email, which I appreciated, and had good advice and tips about how to navigate from his house to downtown Charleston. The house was extremely clean, cute, well-apportioned, and only a 10 minute drive downtown. The neighborhood is a cute, middle-class and I always felt safe there. There's a Publix about a 5 minute drive away to stock the kitchen. Overall, we had a very pleasant time in Charleston and in Joseph's house.

Joseph was an excellent host! He was always very quick to respond to any questions I had. We loved the house which was close to Folly Beach and downtown Charleston. Everything was very nice, the beds were very comfortable as well as all the pillows. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. If I travel back to Charleston I would love to stay here again.
Joseph was kind enough to unlock the house for us since we arrived so late. I don't think I ever waited longer than an hour for a response to any of my messages to him. The house is every bit as cute in person as it is in the photos. It is very clean, which is very much appreciated. The location was good - 10 minutes to Charleston or 15 minutes to the beach. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice. The Sunday farmer's market across the road was one of the best I've attended. There is a CVS and a Publix nearby. The washer and dryer in the house were great for washing beach towels and bath towels. When we return to Charleston some day, we will look to see if this house is available again.

About the Host, Joseph
I have lived Charleston for the past six years. During college, I worked in 4 and 5 star hotels at the beach and in Downtown Charleston. I enjoy sailing my Catalina 30 with friends, sports, fishing, scuba diving, surfing, live music, cold beer, and dining out. I love traveling and meeting new people around the world. I really do like sharing Charleston with visitors so feel free to ask me questions about the city or bounce ideas around for things to do during your visit!
