Lovely, quiet and spacious room overlooking a private garden. Mr and Mrs Tan are friendly and helpful.
I was in Southampton for 5 days working. My stay with Yong and Becky was great. They were very hospitable and there was no stress. The double room I booked was large and looked onto their lovely garden and the woods behind. There was space in the fridge for food, a sink in the room and the shower was good. Altogether a pleasant experience and somewhere I would stay again.
Yong was quick to respond to my queries and was a great host! My husband and I found this room clean, spacious and which also had a washbasin that was very convenient! This room is in a quiet neighbourhood and the parking Saturday-Sunday for the duration we needed it for was free and very convenient. Would certainly stay here again!
Yong was the perfect host. Even though he was in London when I arrived, he made sure I was well looked after by another guest, and checked in by text message to ensure I was settled in and able to get online. The house was very easy to get to, and my room was large and well equipped and very quiet. Yong even drove me to the train station on my way home because it was raining, which was very kind.
I met Yong&Becky in a really delicate moment of my life: moving to a new country! And it couldn't have been better.
The room was really nicely decorated and the whole house was comfortable and near the University and a great park. the Unilink bus stop was round the corner and it easily brings you to the city center.
I have to thank Yong because he really helped me in the research of a shared flat, giving me helpfull advices and providing me anything I could possibly need. Then he was a really good cooker (much better than me!) and I really enjoyed all his stories about his journeys around the world. Our dinners will be pleasant memories of my first days in the UK. I'll keep in touch!

About the Host, Yong
I am an avid traveller and particularly enjoy travelling to the Far East. I have visited Thailand, China, Cambodia, Australia and New Zealand. Last year I particularly enjoyed visiting Hong Kong and Shanghai. The last place were I travelled to was a little closer to home; this summer I went to Switzerland and Italy, staying at the beautiful Lake Como for a week.
