Loft of Angels (unique and stylish)

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Leuschnerdamm, Berlin, Berlin 10999, Germany

The Space

YOU FEEL IT when you walk into the studio-it is that sensation that you have entered a space with energy, peaceful energy. This apartment, with its unique touches, is a hideaway on the Kreuzberg side of the border to Mitte.

Wooden floors and minimal decoration bring an inner sense of peace, even though the apartment itself is surrounded by tons of things to see and do.

Relax in a bath in the middle of the room, cook at the kitchen Island, watch a bit of TV, or Surf the Wifi to your heart's content-it is all here, waiting for you.

Right outside the front door is the Engelbecken (Angel's Bath) where you can just walk along to relax, or even ice-skate in the winter. On one side of the reservoir is a classy Café with tasty drinks and light meals.

If this is your first experience renting an apartment instead of a hotel or a hostel, then you are in for a big treat!

KREUZBERG:
is currently one of the hippest districts of Berlin, an endless variety of clubs, bars, restaurants and cafés and shops to suit all tastes are strung together. The apartment is located in 1a-location in the lively part of Kreuzberg. But it is very quiet, on the ENGELBECKEN as direct (popular romantic meeting place, with gardens, sun terraces + Café on Engelbecken). Need advice? I am always happy to help you find what you are looking for.

The apartment is close to Alexanderplatz (5min with the U8). In just a few minutes you can walk from the main street of the neighborhood to SO 36 (a popular local concert club) : The OranienStr. is the absolute hot spot of the district with its numerous bars, shops, international cuisine and colorful folk. There are lots of shopping and dining possibilities in the immediate area.

NIGHTLIFE:
There are endless possibilities for going out, all located close-by: clubs, bars and restaurants in the vicinity and can be reached on foot in few minutes: Kit Kat Club/Sage Club (700m), Tresor Club (500m) , Ballhaus Naunystr. (700m), Luzia (500m), just to name a few. Berghain is a short taxi ride away.

  • Really great apartment in beautiful Kreuzberg. Eric made sure that everything was perfect and was very helpful letting us pick up the key late. One of my favorite things to do when visiting new cities is going out to have a great cup of coffee. Eric helped us pointing out the best coffee places in the neighborhood - and he was right, it was really great coffee:)

  • We immediately felt at home because of the Eric's warm welcome. The loft is perfect to stay in during your Berlin visit. Bright, stylish, and spacious are terms I would link to the loft. The neighborhood is good, several nice restaurants and easy metro acces from Moritzplatz. It was my first Airbnb experience and it was a real good one. Thank you Eric for the service you are a warm host we wish you a good 2014!

  • Supernice appartement! Good energie, good location, near to a park, Kreuzberg and close to the subway to go to all the other places you want to be. We were there around christmas and as said, the appartement has such a good feel that we spent a lot of time bathing, eating, sleeping, drinking and relaxing in there. definitely recommed it!

  • I did not meet Eric in person but he was very accommodating to our needs when we arrived much later that the agreed upon time due to delays. The loft was as the pictures described it; light and lovely.

  • Its great apartment! I'd recommend to stay here!

  • Excellent place, the tub and view of the goats made it unlike any other place I've stayed. The neighborhood is quiet, but great places to chill at are only a few blocks away. The place was clean and comfortable, I hope to stay there when I return to Berlin.

  • I had a fantastic time in Berlin and the apartment was just as it described. Eric was there to meet me and showed us into the flat, it had everything we needed and the location is perfect! Will definitely be going back.

  • Excellent light, great area, super good location between kreuzberg and Mitte. Great bath. Worst pillows I've ever slept on. In summer the backyard warms up and the goats dung heats up and is smelly (there is a kinder animal farm out back). We experienced a lot of noise from children playing under window, but this is only tricky I you want to sleep in the day and if its warm enough to play outside, which is something to celebrate really! Highly recommend this place otherwise. Great amount of space! :)

  • Really nice place enjoyed my stay in Berlin! Thanks Eric

    June 2013
  • Everything about the loft was perfect. Clean, well maintained and properly equipped. Kreuzberg is a fascinating area and the location is ideal for exploring it. Eric was a very responsive and helpful host - even though I arrived late he was ready to help me check in. There are plenty of free parking spaces around the house.

About
I'm down to earth, like to meet new people, be with friends, travel, cook, eat, drink, snowboard---not necessarily in that order. When I have the time, I like to work with plastic, making art or objects. I am currently building a startup for specialty printing (feel free to ask ;) I came to Berlin in 2006, absolutely loved the city, and decided to stay. Originally I wanted to open a hostel here, but now I host in apartments instead. Most of the flats I have listed here are from other owners, I take care of them in their absence. Working with multiple apartments can be quite hard work, but my favorite part is meeting with my guests, it is very rewarding. I have an agency, so you may get a response from Szandra, who helps me answer queries faster. ;) I know my way around Berlin pretty well, and can give good tips on where to go when you are in the city. I do my best to make sure the flats are accommodating and comfortable, as I am a traveler myself. Our Philosophy: People are important! We will do our best to satisfy your needs. Our apartments are kept very clean, and we respond to all feedback. Professionally cleaned sheets and towels are included, so is a hair dryer and iron. You will also find little comforts in our apartments, such as tea, books, spices... Calendars are up to date, and we are on time. We work hard so you can enjoy your vacation!
