About this listing
Our Bed and Breakfast is situated in a quiet rural environment in a small village of 219 inh. In the main house (built in 1821) there are 5 rooms each w private bathrooms. There is a large garden, fenced all around, with lazy chairs, pool and BBQ. Your kids may want to feed our sheep.
The village is in a rural area, meaning it is a quiet place and for shopping you have to drive a few kilometers to the next villages.
Le Mouton Qui Rit - the laughing sheep
Our B&B is in a tiny farming village in the north of the Haute Saone. Lots of forest, hilly and excellent for walking and cycling holidays!
You can do POTTERY in our workshop and if you stay about a week (special pricing available) it can even be fired and glazed in our electrical ceramic oven. There is a solar heated pool, so you can swim from mid May till late October. Our hottub can be used throughout the year (requires advance notice).
Everything is enclosed so it is safe for kids to run around. They can play with our sheep, help feeding them or just walk along. Or roam in our orchard, look for nuts under the walnut tree.
The house is nearly 200 years old and originally a farm house. So it is an old building where you may find a spec of dust or an occasional insect running around.

I live at Mailleroncourt-Saint-Pancras, France
I like, above all, cooking. Do pottery, read detectives, listen to classical music. Love our conversations at the dinner table and like to hear your story.
