Interaction with Guests
We interact based on how much the guest wants to interact. We live on the first floor of the house and on a normal day we will be hanging out around the house. We are never too busy yet busy enough.
I love that from my house, I can be pretty much anywhere I need to be within 10 minutes. Downtown, Malls, restaurants, recreational areas... all ten minutes away!

I try not to have any house rules, but I do not allow smoking in my house. I ask that you respect our home and pets. If you ever need anything that we can help with, we will do our best. Live peacefully and rules are not necessary.
I relocated from Virginia to Milwaukee and needed a place to stay while in transition. Jeremy was as good a host that one could be. He was extremely accommodating, kind, and able to answer all my questions about the stay as well as the Milwaukee area. It was a great feeling to be able to know that I was welcome in a completely new city.
Jeremy and Crystal are fabulous hosts. Incredibly gracious, friendly, funny, and accommodating. They made me feel right at home. Their home is very nice - Extremely clean, tastefully decorated, and plenty of space. They had very friendly pets as well. Great experience.
My hosts, Crystal and Jeremy are hospitable, benevolent and enlightened people. I enjoyed getting to know them. Our conversations were entertaining, delightful and pleasing. I hope to return for a visit in the summer or fall.
While there I was able to meet some of their family and felt very welcomed. Their fur family: Ishmeal, Ivy, Gary and Meow Meow were wonderful, very well trained and pleasant.
Their home was clean; the neighborhood quiet and safe. The accommodations were true to the listing. They were helpful navigating the new city and recommending sites to visit.
This was my first experience with airbnb. I did an extended stay (70+ days), while traveling for work. Their home was in excellent proximity to work (Froedert Hospital).
I'm grateful for opportunity to have stayed in their home and mostly for their kindness. A billion stars.
I was in Milwaukee for a residency interview, and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay at! Jeremy was a wonderful host, abs helped me familiarize with the area from the very beginning.
I really enjoyed staying with Jeremy and Crystal. They were wonderful to talk to and so nice to open their home up and let me play with their juicer and mixer. I felt at home - they had some wonderful fresh veggies from the garden out to eat, the pets (Ishmael, Ivy, Gary, and Meow-Meow) were also very welcoming and loving. I really enjoying going out to supper with Jeremy and Crystal and the other renter. The room was wonderful, as promised, very comfortable bed, full closet and drawers were also available.
The house was in a great location for me. The hospital I was rotating at was just down the street. Close by there were several grocery stores to chose from, Trader Joe's several streets over, and any restaurants or stores you could want in the area as well.
Jeremy and Crystal were awesome. I am a 4th year medical student and stayed at their house for a total of 30 days. The night I arrived we sat and chatted for a couple hours or so, they showed me the room and gave me keys to their house. They were upfront about the rules (none really) and welcomed me into their home. The entire month went great. They invited me to go hiking with them and to explore the city a bit as I am evaluating it for a possible residency spot in the future. They were a great help. Their home is very centrally located and is easy to navigate around. They are awesome people. Their pets (Ismael, Ivy, Gary, and Meow-Meow) are wonderful. I give my full endorsement and recommendation to anyone who is traveling to the Milwaukee area. You will not be disappointed.
Staying with Jeremy and Crystal was almost like staying with family. They always made me feel comfortable and at home. They were both so caring and made sure my stay was as great as it could be. The rooms were incredibly well-maintained and perfect for traveling. Having parking and laundry included also made this SUCH a convenient stay and a great deal (if you're from out of town - parking in Milwaukee can be expensive and quite the undertaking). I was a long term guest (3 months) and this was very well suited for a long stay. I was able to use the kitchen, laundry facilities, and often hung out in the main living room of the house. There are often multiple guests in the house and we would all spend time together, which really made it like my surrogate family while I was traveling. The pets (now two dogs and two cats) were sweet - Ishmael is the most well-trained dog I've ever met! Even if you're not always comfortable around large dogs, Ishmael wasn't jumpy and wouldn't bowl you over. When it came to getting to know the town, Jeremy and Crystal would often invite their guests to local outings and make sure we knew of any fun events happening in Milwaukee. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet, but is still close to all the action in downtown Milwaukee. I would recommend this place to anyone!!
