This room is appropriate for only one person, two if you are very friendly with a TWIN BED.
The DELIGHT room is a comfortable 13 ft X 13 ft room with a private bath and a QUEEN BED. Sleeps two comfortably.
The MTN VIEW room is an even larger room than the DELIGHT with a shared bath and a QUEEN BED and TWIN BED. The GRAND room is a huge room with jacuzzi
It has a QUEEN BED and a SOFA or TWIN BED. Sleeps 3 comfortably with space to put more mattresses on the floor for friendly folks.
Weekly and monthly rates available. Guests are welcome for medical/dental tourism, internships, transition times, relocation exploration, international telecommuting or ???

Roam The World For Free ARTICLE CELL PHONES
Thursday, 17 October 2013
Have you ever had an amazing vacation in a foreign country only to come home to a US$500 cell phone bill? You only checked a few emails, used (website hidden) Maps, and uploaded pictures to (website hidden) to make your friends jealous, so how could it cost that much?
I've been a victim to these outrageous roaming fees which has lead me to either leave my phone in airplane mode or buy a local prepaid SIM card in the country I am visiting, neither of which is ideal.
Beginning on Oct. 20th, the U.S. cellular company T-Mobile is changing the game in international travel by getting rid of international roaming fees. That's right, U.S. T-Mobile users will now be able to roam the world with their current cell phone and number at no extra cost.
The service will be available in countries including Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Brazil, France, Italy, China, and 200 other countries. It allows unlimited data usage and texting, with phone calls at a rate of 20 cents per minute. The service automatically connects to the local service in the new country and requires nothing for the user to do.
T-Mobile's new plan is perfect for the frequent and infrequent traveler that wants to always be connected while they are away. Picture being able to hop from country to country in Europe, use all of your data, apps, maps, and email, and not be penalized for it. The savings and convenience are extraordinary.
T-Mobile is currently the only cell phone provider in the United States offering an international cell phone service like this. It's great they are the first to recognize that we live in a global world where people want to be connected no matter where they are. It will also be interesting to see whether the larger carriers like Verizon and AT&T eventually jump on board.
For more information on T-Mobile's new plan visit: (website hidden)(email hidden)ml.

Liza was a great host. She provided and easy transition into Costa Rica. Transportation was arranged from the airport for around $30 as well as dinner the night of arrival at her neighbor Joanna's house. I would highly recommend eating at Joanna's during your stay. It was a very unique dining experience and the food was delicious!
Liza was very helpful with planning activities while we were there and even Drew is map of the bus routes we needed to take.
We enjoyed our stay, thank you Liza!
Liza was a fabulous host- very inviting! Our room was in the second house and had all the amenities we needed. Not to mention an international phone for us to use when we disabled our cellular data on our cells. She also prepared us an assortment of fruits for morning breakfast! Everything looked as is in the picture.
The BEST part of our stay was visiting Johanna's House for Dinner. Liza will tell you about it if you ask for a great dinner spot. Johanna is a culinary mastermind and she turned her home (just a few houses down from Liza's) into a restaurant. The food was worthy to be on the Food Network and I would HIGHLY recommend you have this once in a lifetime experience!
We had a great experience at Liza's house. It was located in Escazu, right outside San Jose, in a very safe neighborhood. There is an upscale shopping center nearby with some dining options, but one of the best parts of staying at this house was going around the corner to eat food at a little make-shift restaurant in one of Liza's neighbor's houses. The food was awesome and cheap, and it was a great experience! Escazu has more of a suburb feel, so there aren't too many shops/activities in the immediate area, but there is a bus stop to downtown San Jose about 10 minutes away from the house. Liza also knows a great driver/tour guide who took us to some of the sites in the San Jose area for a reasonable price. Liza was very helpful and accommodating and even upgraded our room. The house was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful porch out in the back. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable experience!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Liza's great B&B. The property was perfect in every way. I was in Costa Rica for some extensive dental work but really felt like I had a little vacation instead. The room was quiet and extremely comfortable and the breakfast and coffee was just great. Liza is an incredible host and really became a good friend by the time my short stay was over. The other guests were really friendly and we all enjoyed sharing time together around the breakfast table. I had dinner partners every night and even went to the symphony with my new friends at the house. Best food experience of all time was dinner at Joanna's, a "pop-up" restaurant located in a private home a few doors down from Liza's. I can't even begin to describe how wonderful the food was there. I would come back to Costa Rica and stay at Liza's just for the opportunity to eat Joanna's food. You simply must go!
The guests ranged from mid 20's to late 60's (I am in the older group) and we all felt we were in the perfect place.
A very good place to start your visit to Costa Rica! Great to arrange to be met at the airport and a warm welcome awaits you from Liza. Comfortable accommodation and a very informative and obliging host.
Muchos gracios, Liza
Liza is a natural hostess! She takes good care of her guests and it's easy to see that she loves hosting them. Our room was very comfortable and very clean and the property is nice and relaxing. It is an excellent choice for staying in the Escazu & San Jose area.
This is our 'home away from home' when we visit San Jose. Liza was most helpful with suggestions to make our trip a memorable one. Her home is so welcoming and we met such interesting guests the whole week we were there. She would even pack our fruit breakfasts for our early start to our day trips. Don't forget to ask for Carlos, our driver and tour guide extraordinaire! Thank you Liza for the memories!
This is my new go-to place any time I need to stay near San Jose. The accommodations are excellent, and Liza was beyond awesome. Fresh fruit every morning for breakfast, facilities to cook our own dinners, just everything we could have asked for and more.
