The North Wing is part of a substantial house on the east side of Place de la Fontaine in the Minervois village of Pepieux.
It can accommodate a maximum of 4 people and has 2 bedrooms and a shower room on the first floor. There is a living room and kitchen on the ground floor.
The outside walls of the house were originally part of the old chateau dating from the 13th century. They are over 1 meter thick and enable the house to stay cool in the summer months. The interior of the north wing was completely renovated in 2005 and is traditional and very comfortable.
From the entrance porch there is a comfortable living room with a dining table seating 6, sofa and armchair, bookshelves with a varied and interesting selection of books, tv/dvd player. Some of the original stone walls are exposed and divide the kitchen from the living room. There is an antique Godin wood burning stove.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker/gas & electric hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker etc.
There is a utility room with washing machine and drier and wc on the ground floor.
