I didn't get to meet Helen in person but even from email she was very helpful and made sure we had someone there to greet us and show us around. The location overlooking the harbour was beautiful and we were very happy with our choice to stay there.

Helen is a wonderful, warm host. We had a delightful stay. I highly recommend her as an excellent host and great place to stay right on the southern coast. Thank you Helen for making our trip special.

Helen-meeting you ( and your mum) was really one of my favorite parts to our trip. Landscapes and relics are appreciated , but having a peek into daily life and Irish people touches the heart more. Your home and hospitality was better than a 5 star hotel. Best wishes for your practice. To give to others brings you many rewards. Love, Molly & Kevin

I did not get to stay at the Cobh house due to an unforeseen circumstance. Helen arranged for us to stay at her house which was just wonderful. We were up in a wooded area in the hills overlooking the sea but close enough to explore the coast and Cork. Helen was very welcoming and warm. Thank you Helen for a a wonderful experience.

Helen welcomed us to her home with a hug and we felt like members of her family immediately. We definitely felt that way when we were included in the birthday celebration of her man, Stephan. Her family is wonderful. Helen is a very positive, warm, caring individual who brightens the world around her. She is simply a marvelous hostess. The second floor den or library overlooks the harbor and provides an excellent location from which to watch the cruise ships go by. The parking was no problem. Cobh is a delightful harbor town where people are quite friendly. If you stay in Cobh, be sure to ask Helen for directions to the China Sea, a superb Chinese restaurant.

This is a three-story townhouse a short walk to the downtown area. There is a very cozy sitting room on the second floor with a fireplace and a great view of the water. Helen is a gracious, thoughtful host who made us feel like special guests.

I have a fabulous home in the heart of Cobh, which I love.

My house 5 minutes stroll to the bars, restaurants and tourist attractions.

Cobh is a great place to live and is situated on the Great Island. The island is linked to the main land by a bridge and ferry, but still really close to Cork City, so it's a great base for exploring Cobh, Cork and the neighbouring Counties.

We are also really lucky to have a train service in Cobh - which takes a very scenic 25 minutes to Cork City. You can also take the train to Midleton and check out the Midleton Jameson Distillery.

Cobh was once called Queenstown and was Titanic’s last port of call on the voyage to New York. Cobh has one of the largest natural harbours in the world. The cruise liners that visit Cobh, some of which are the largest in the world, pass by my windows, which is an amazing sight.

Millions of Irish emigrants departed from Queenstown between 1848 and 1950, seeking a new life in North America. Much of historic Queenstown still remains including the train station, White Star Line’s office building, and St. Colman's Cathedral. One can imagine the excitement and confusion of the passengers and crew who passed through Cobh’s harbour waters to an unknown future.

As well as being an airbnb lady, I am a qualified Nurse and Access Consciousness Bars Facilitator - which is a wonderfully relaxing treatment for bringing ease to your life, removing stumbling blocks and creating clarity - by touching 32 points on the head. I am also a Pranic Healer - which is a no touch energy treatment. Healing Packages can be arranged, if you want to address any health and well being issues in your life. 'Helen Geary Pranic Healer' and you will be able to check out my Pranic Healing website.

For the golfers out there, there are numerous courses within 30 minutes drive from my home. For a Customised Irish Golf Tour let me know and I will put you in touch with one of my former guests, who is now a Cobh Resident.

There are daily boat trips around the harbour and to Spike Island, which is Ireland's version of Alcatraz. The Prison served as both a Military and Civilian prison over the years.

Sea Angling Charters also operate from Cobh and across the harbour near the harbour mouth lies the village of Crosshaven, which boasts the oldest Yacht Club in the world.

You will have a very warm welcome and will be encouraged to treat my home as your home while you're here in Cobh.

My house is referred to by many as 'The House of Calm'. So if you want a calm, gentle environment and you are happy to come and go as you please, this is the place for you.
