About This Listing
Sunny warm house with lots of light and a couple of black cats within walking distance to beaches, shops, and restaurants. Your private room has a queen bed and closet and there is a mini fridge for your use. Lots of space inside and out to relax.
Less than 1-1/2 miles to Opal Cliffs in Pleasure Point and the Capitola wharf. Less than a 10 minute walk to Trader Joes, Whole Foods, the Capitola Mall, tennis courts, the $25 an hour Chinese massage place, $10 pedicure and manicure place, Dharma's vegetarian restaurant, and the Capitol Recreation Center. It's about a 10 minute drive to downtown and a few minutes more to the boardwalk.
You have a private room, semi private bathroom, living room, and yard. There is a toaster oven, microwave, and a mini fridge in the closet. There are two living rooms in the house so you can sit undisturbed somewhere!
Interaction with Guests
We aren't home much and can leave you in peace or help you discover the joys of Santa Cruz.
Our neighborhood has everything. It has quiet back streets and is quite close to lots of shops.
The bus is about a 5 minute walk, (at the mall), and there is parking in front of the house if you have a car. We have an undercover bike shelter if you bring your bike.
Other Things to Note
We have two cats!
Because so many people have accidentally taken the house key with them I am now charging $10 for keys that are not returned at the end of the stay. I have to take off work to get the keys made and then I lose work time and pay. :(
This is a quiet neighborhood and we would love to keep it that way. We are not 420 friendly, (sorry!) and there is no smoking of anything in the house. This is for the guest or guests staying only and we do not want to host your graduation party, (or whatever). We do want you to be happy though so please let us know of any special requests.
Cindy was great I left a review earlier thank for the note the bike is running great I'm I'm Vancouver BC now take care Jess
Cindy was great a very positive lady and helpful I had only planned on staying one night my motorcycle would not start the next morning I needed to stay one more night so I could get the bike fixed . I called Cindy she had a room available I book it
The room was clean and quiet.
Cindy communicated well with me, and ensured that I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay at her house. She was very sweet, and even gave suggestions for places to go around town. I would definitely stay with Cindy again!
Great place! The location was excellent, near the freeway, shopping was a walk away, a minute to the beach, on a quiet peaceful street with ample parking. A warm home, clean, quiet, with a room that was cool during the day and cozy at night; amenities included an in-room fridge, microwave, toaster oven, desk, and a comfy bed. Cindy was great host who was very welcoming.
Cindy was kind and helpful. I was looking for a brunch location and she offered 3 different options. She also provided me with bus information.
Had a lovely stay a Cindy's place. I loved the walk up to the front door - through a whimsical garden. The place was quiet and peaceful, the perfect place for me to spend a couple nights.
