We had a wonderful experience renting Wendy's home! The house was beautiful and spacious and the deck was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy our family and the beautiful weather. We had so much fun using the raft and the kayak and gathering around the campfire in the evening. There were many touristy things we wanted to do while in WA, but the house was so wonderful it was hard to leave it. It was the perfect place to enjoy our family time.
Thank you so much, Wendy!
The pictures accurately portrayed the house, which was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of sheets and towels, as well as a washer and dryer in case we needed more. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a wonderful view of the passage from the family room/dining room and the deck (where we spent most of our time while there and awake).
We spent a holiday getaway at Wendy's cabin on the lake. We were happy to find a comfortable quint get away. While spending the holidays away from home we were worried it wouldn't be the same. Wendy was a heartfelt host who took the time to decorate the house with a full size family Christmas tree and lights and decorations through out. We ate fresh oysters from nearby Taylor farms as we rang in the new year. Thanks to Wendy sharing her home we had a memorable holiday season.
We had a great time at Wendy's house. It's large and airy with lots of windows. It's ideally situated right at a the edge of the water. Perfect location for kayaking and fishing. There is a great big yard and deck which makes the house even more enjoyable. Wendy was kind enough to suggest some activities to do with our 3 year old boy and she was spot on. The wild blackberries everywhere around the property (we stayed there at the end of August) made for many tasty desserts.
Be aware that cellphone reception can be really spotty in the area.
I would definitely recommend this rental to friends and I would love to stay there again.
