Some Frequently Asked Questions:
1) Can you store your luggage on your last day?
If you need to just store your luggage whilst you enjoy your last day in NYC that is fine, again please just let me know in advance so I can provide this information to the cleaner who will be minding your bags whilst she is cleaning the apartment for the next arriving guests. All bags need to be collected by no later then 3pm so as not to disturb the new guests arriving at the apartment.
2) Can we wash our clothes?
If you need to have your clothes washed, there is a terrific laundry service just 1 minute up the road on Broome street that will wash, dry and fold your clothes. You need to drop off your clothes before 9.30am and they'll be clean ready for you to pick up by 5pm.
3) Do you offer breakfast or delivered food to the apartment?
No, but there are many beautiful cafes in our area.
4) What restaurants do you recommend in the neighborhood?
Within a 3 city block radius of the apartment you have several excellent restaurants to choose from:
1) The Soho Grand Restaurant on West Broadway
2) Lucky Strike on Grand Street
3) Balthazar on Spring Street
4) Pera on Broome Street
5) The Mercer Kitchen on Prince Street
6) Little Prince on Prince Street
5) Check-In/Out Policy Explanation
Check-in (email hidden)eck-Out is at 11am
I can offer an early checkin from 6am for an additional $100 charge if you are catching a nasty red eye flight and arriving into New York super early. If you need a late check-out past 11am you are most welcome to pay a late check-out charge of $100 and stay, shower and relax til your evening flight.
6) Can we drop off luggage early or leave our luggage to collect later?
If you absolutely need to check in earlier then 3pm to drop off your heavy luggage if you're coming in from a long flight (say from Australia) I can accommodate this for you in most cases just ask me in advance to make sure I can be home to meet you! I can meet you at the apartment usually between 9 - 11am, you can leave your luggage with the cleaner who is cleaning the apartment then return back at 3pm to officially check in!
Soho from Wikipedia description:
SoHo is a neighborhood in Lower Manhattan, New York City, notable for being the location of many artists' lofts and art galleries, and also, more recently, for the wide variety of stores and shops ranging from trendy boutiques to outlets of upscale national and international chain stores. The area's history is an archetypal example of inner-city regeneration and gentrification, encompassing socio-economic, cultural, political and architectural developments.
Almost all of SoHo is included in the SoHo-Cast Iron Historic District, which was designated by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1973, extended in 2010, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and declared a National Historic Landmark in 1978. It consists of 26 blocks and approximately 500 buildings, many of them incorporating cast iron architectural elements. The side streets in the district are notable for being paved with Belgian blocks.
The name "SoHo" refers to the area being "SOuth of HOuston (Street)". SoHo as a specifically-zoned neighborhood is bounded roughly by Houston Street on the northern side, Lafayette Street and Centre Street on the east, Canal Street on the south, and West Broadway on the west.

This apartment was so amazing. Not only was it in the most ideal location - walking distance to everything in Soho, Tribeca or the West Village - but it was designed so well and very comfortable. It's a full floor, so incredibly spacious for NY, with a modern, clean & roomy bathroom. I will absolutely stay here time and time again!
We throughly enjoyed our stay in Hunter's apartment. We found it great value for money. It's located only a few blocks from a couple of different subway lines. There were four of us and the space was perfect. We are family so it didn't bother us there are no doors on the two 'rooms'. If you're ok with that then you'll love the place. It's extremely clean, spacious and has a great kitchen. I was particularly impressed with Hunter's communication with us before and during the stay. The perfect host.
Hunter was such a wonderful host. The apt was clean, warm and light. It was so special to have so much space in NY! Nothing was too much trouble for Hunter.
Wonderfoul!!!! very good location, very near of Soho, the tube station so so near, nice area, very clean and Hunter is so so nice!!!, We are 6 adults, and we stayed so confortable, we are a family. Sure we'll come back again.
Genial!, situacion perfecta, en Soho, tres lineas de metro cerca, casa muy acogedora, y muy limpia. Eramos 6 y estuvimos muy comodos.Anfitiona perfecta, muy pendiente de sus huespedes. Volvemos seguro!!!
Hunter is a lovely host! Easy to communicate with. Apartment is situated at a very good location. Subway is easy walking distance. The place itself is very spacious & clean. We had 5 adults staying here comfortably. We will definitely come back here to stay when we visit NY again!
Great location, comfortable loft, fitted out with all the mod cons.. Would definitely stay there again. Hunter was a great help.
This place was a great location, safe and nice. I'm only rating lower BC it's not a 2 bedroom. It's a studio with a partition between two beds. It was disappointing since I specifically asked if there was privacy as we went with another couple and was our first trip without kids. I was told it was private and def a 2 bedroom. You can see in each other's rooms so had to warn each other when changing clothes etc. There is no privacy or doors or anything around bed. So if you're going alone it's great and Hunter was helpful. I just didn't appreciate that I wasn't told the whole truth beforehand. Clean, close to subway, fair price is all true.
Thanks Andraea for your review and honest feedback. Whilst I do hear what you have said, it is true that there are two separate bedrooms in the loft. They are divided by a large wall partition made up of old Vermont School style windows that are covered with the Asian Chinese blinds. So whilst you could not 'shut a door' at the entry way to each room, yes it is as you say open, I think it is misleading to say that you could not get changed into your clothes! If you expect total privacy and your a couple perhaps it best not to book an apartment to share.
This apartment is special
If you visit with friends, it'll be great memory
Great location, convenient walk to the subway, great apartment!
