Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Welcome to the cozy lil cabin where you can enjoy serene water views. The main floor of the cabin features a full kitchen, living room with king sized pull out couch, washer/dryer and bathroom. The upstairs sleeping area has a queen bed on one side of the catwalk and twin on the other. Please be aware the stairs leading to the sleeping area are steep and narrow. The cabin has an open concept layout. The lil cabin is conveniently located 5 min. from two grocery stores and 30 min. to Aspen.

The space
The lil cabin is on our property next to our home. It overlooks several ponds on private property. We do not have access to utilize the ponds or the road around them, but truly enjoy the serene views and wildlife they bring. We look forward to sharing this with our guests. There is seating by the water, a picnic table area, grill and deck to enjoy the outdoors. The cabin is off of an access road that runs parallel to Highway 82. This offers convenience to quickly access everything that the Roaring Fork Valley offers, but the road noise can be heard at times. There are only a few homes near the property making it a little oasis.

Guest access
Guests have access to everything the cabin has to offer and is separated by a partial privacy fence from the host home. Relax in your private outdoor space after an adventurous day in the Roaring Fork Valley. There are several parking spots right next to the cabin.

Other things to note
The stairs are steep and narrow. Please look at the pictures. Not suited for small children or individuals with physical limitations. There is a king size pull out couch on the ground floor for those unable to navigate the stairs.

While visiting you will see lot of wildlife which may include a bear. We encourage all of our guest to take proper precautions such as bringing all food inside in the evenings.

The cabin does not have air conditioning. During the summer months we open the windows in the evening to cool off the cabin. Then close them in the morning and pull shades to keep the cabin nice and cool. There are also fans provided.

My husband Lou and I have lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for 35 years. We raised two beautiful daughters that returned to Colorado after college. We love to hike and go on jeep trails . We have lived in Florida, Oklahoma, and Texas, but for us nothing compares to the beauty of Colorado, We are excited to share our 'lil' cabin with traveling guest. Our property is a non smoking rental located next to our full time residence.
