Lauren is a 'make yourself at home!' kind of host and provided (accurately) all necessary details prior to my arrival, and left apartment logistics and restaurant/entertainment recommendations for when I arrived. She was available via text throughout my 3-day stay. The apartment is adorable -- both spacious and comfortable, it's furnished and designed with simplicity. I was there alone, but think it would be perfect for 2 people as well. The light in the morning is a gift, as is looking out over the little front courtyard from the living room window. The street is lovely and is just a short walk from the park. The apartment is maybe a 10 min walk to Fair Oaks Avenue (a main drag, with shopping, restaurants, etc.) and there's easy access to the 110, 134 and 210 in various directions off Fair Oaks. I definitely will try to stay here the next time I visit my friends in South Pasadena.
We had a wonderful stay! Lauren was incredibly sweet and easy to deal with, and the apartment was super clean and bright. Perfect for two people and a great location -- just a few blocks from the main drag on South Pasadena. Thanks Lauren!!
We had a lovely stay in Lauren's apartment, the apartment is clean, cozy, and so much better than we expected! Lauren was nice and very helpful host, she even let us stay one more night! The apartment is in very quiet neighborhood and also very easy to get around! Would highly recommend to everyone!
Lauren was wonderful to work with and very helpful! Her apartment is fabulous and in a great very easy to find location of South Pasadena. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to future stays.
This place was great! Lauren was extremely easy to work with and we were so happy to selected this apartment. Great location in Pasadena and was everything we expected.
My partner and I had a lovely experience at Lauren's South Pasadena apartment. It was our first AirBnB experience, and it was a great way to start.
he apartment is truly charming, and Lauren has it decorated in a nice minimalist style. (She also has great taste in books too!)
We wanted to stay in South Pasadena as a way to test out the neighborhood, for a potential upcoming move. Lauren's place is perfectly located near the 110 Freeway, which makes it easy to get between all the areas we wanted to check out.
Lauren put in the extra effort to be a great host even though she wasn't around the weekend we stayed. There were fresh flowers for our arrival! Apartment was clean with fresh linens on the bed and towels laid out. She even provided her sister's phone number in case we had any troubles, which we did not.
Great place to stay in South Pasadena with a good host!
This place was great -- it was perfect for exploring the South Pasadena area in general. Check-in, parking, etc. was easy, it was as advertised. Very peaceful, safe-feeling street, both during the day and at night. I highly recommend it. Thanks!
Hi, I'm 30 years young. I work as a nurse at a nearby hospital. I have a great little one bedroom apartment, which I occupy by myself. I usually spend my days off going for a run either around town or in the mountains, bikram yoga, riding my bike, going out to dinner and catching up with friends. I try to live simply and believe experiences are more important material items. I love traveling (who doesn't, right?) and recently went on a solo to Colombia, which was amazing.
On my desk I keep a quote by Henry David Thoreau: "If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."
