Montford is the historic neighborhood adjacent to downtown. The Visitors Center is located here because it is a beautiful neighborhood, walkable to everything!
This was a great little cottage for a weekend getaway. We brought our dog, who seemed to love it. We enjoyed walks around the historic neighborhood, and had a nice dinner at Nine Mile, the Jamaican restaurant a couple blocks away. I definitely recommend staying here! Thanks Rebecca!
Rebecca was a great host! She was very friendly and gave us suggestions on things to do around town. The neighborhood is beautiful and the location of the house is very convenient to most everything. This is my first time booking through AirBnB so I was a little nervous. As soon as we arrived and got settled, we felt right at home!
The style of the apartment is pretty unique with lots of custom interior work. The shower is very nice after a long day of hiking in the mountains around Asheville. Cooking light meals is easy as the kitchen is stocked with essential utensils. There are 2 grocery stores within a 5 minute drive.
I stayed in this cottage for two months and just LOVED it. First of all, Rebecca is hands down the most welcoming and knowledgeable Air B n B host I have ever stayed with. She made me feel beyond welcomed and shared tons about things to check out in the city. Secondly, the space was absolutely darling. I was concerned it might feel too small, but it actually felt quite spacious. The internal architecture is unique and awesome and just beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close to downtown Asheville while still having the beauty of the Montford area. Fantastic!
Rebecca was super nice, and the cottage was clean and cute, and toasty warm. Location is perfect, as it's near to the bed & breakfast Christmas lights and a simple and pleasant walk to town. Thanks for everything Rebecca! Will definitely see you again soon.
Great little cabin near downtown. Rebecca is a great host!
We enjoyed our stay at Rebecca's cottage. The cottage is beautifully constructed and comfortably furnished, although the mattress is extremely soft.
There was an issue with the alarm beeping every couple hours which Rebecca asked us to address (since she was away) but we were unable to, and later she tried to address but wasn't fully successful. But it wasn't that big a deal.
When we asked to borrow some soap / shampoo since there was none in the shower, Rebecca said she doesn't provide that. So bring your own!
The location is great -- walking distance to many things and in a quaint, historic neighborhood. And we had a nice, in-person conversation with Rebecca and she gave us a bunch of good recommendations of things to do.
I had a wonderful stay at Rebecca's sweet cottage. It is such a cozy pace, and Rebecca was a helpful and delightful host. I would definitely stay there again!
Great place to stay! The location was very convenient to downtown and great places to eat - all in walking distance. Rebecca was the best and even walked our dog when we were late getting back.
We had a wonderful stay in Rebecca's cottage! It's clean and cozy, and in a perfect spot. We enjoyed the lovely walk through Montford to get downtown each day. Rebecca was very responsive and checking in and out was super easy. We look forward to a future stay.
This is a great little space in a beautiful neighborhood (historic Montford), very convenient to downtown. We could actually walk there if we wanted (though parking is very convenient in downtown Asheville). Rebecca was a great host and provided lots of suggestions and advice for our visit. This cottage is behind her house, so she was always there when we needed her. When we had a minor problem with the sink, her husband, Tom, fixed it before we got back that day! The only drawback of this cottage is that it is a studio apartment, so there is no separate place to read at night if your partner goes to bed early. But overall, I would definitely recommend it. :-)
