Alexandra and Marija were great and welcoming hosts! Marija was very helpful with information and suggestions both before I got to Vilnius and also while I was there. The room was as expected, no complaints. It did get a bit cold, but I was provided with extra blankets so it wasn't an issue (just bring warm pajamas if you are visiting in the winter). The location was also good, I was able to walk to all the tourist sites, museums and restaurants. I am very happy with my stay here!
My stay with Alexandra and Marija was very nice. I stayed there two weeks and it was like to spend time with a family. They are kind and in the house there is an artistic atmosphere. The room was clean, big and full of nice books.
I spent a really nice time and I recommend it to everyone.
I was on a business trip to a conference in Vilnius and decided to go for this lovely place as my choice for overnight stay. The result was that I had a fabulous experience staying with Marija and her mother Alexandra. Once you enter their house, you enter into a magical world that is whimsical, witty, light-hearted and serious - all at the same time. I was delighted to have such an easy time with Marija whom I interacted with the most. It was as if I had known her already. She has all the qualities one would want in a host, and she sincerely cared that my stay with her was comfortable and pleasant. I got to experience Lithuania in the best possible way, and that was largely due to where I stayed!
I liked staying at Marija and Alexandras house very very much, as they are friendly and kind. The speciality of the rooms lies in their cosy romantic atmosphere. Another advantage of living at Marija and Alexandras house is the closeness of their home to the center. If someone is staying in Vilnius I would warmly advice them to stay there.
Staying at Marija and Alexandra's house was wonderful: I felt at home, the communication was very good and the style and atmosphere in the house is warm and inspiring! I highly recommend to stay at their place while in Vilnius. Location is great close to a very nice park and the main street, but the house is on a quiet little road.
I had an amazing time in Vilnius! It's a 10-minute walk from Alexandra & Marija's place to Old Town, so a great location, and very easy to fuse into your memory. Both are extremely hospitable people, and I already miss them! Same with their friendly dog and shy cat.
Dear Maria and Alexandra, I am very thankful you as my staying in your home was so comfortable for me. I was not mistaken in my choice. Atmosphere of your home was wonderful and your attitude let me feel free like at my home.
Dear Alexandra and Marija,
I can't praise you and your charming place enough. I really just felt like home during my week at your house! Everything worked perfectly and looked so pretty, so artistic! You two were so friendly, always eager to help me, always offering something in your nice kitchen! And your dog is really the cutest thing on earth!!!!
Well, to stay at such a cozy place with such cordial and cheerful persons was a great pleasure for me. I felt most welcome and still had my freedom to do whatever I liked, well in one word perfect, thanks a 1000 times and I recommend you to everyone (I think this should be clear by now ;))!
Our stay in Vilnius was made all the more memorable for the warmth of this home, it's two hosts Alexandra and Marija, and lovably mascot Balta.
When travelling for extended periods you tend to miss the company of family and friends but I don't think this could ever be the case here.
Vilnius is a beautiful city and a locals insight is always welcomed so be sure to grab a copy of Marija's Vilnius tips.
