Sleeping arrangement:

Bedroom 1 (Master) has king size bed and ensuite bathroom.

Bedroom 2 has a queen bed + a bunk twin bed with its own ensuite bathroom. Note that the 2nd bedroom is not private. You have to walk through the 2nd bedroom to reach the Master Bedroom. So the home is suited more for a single family than multiple families vacationing together.

The Living Room has a Queen sofa bed and comes with bedding for a good night sleep.

We provide all of the bedding and bath linens for your use during your stay. We also provide body wash, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, toilet paper, tissue, paper towels and trash bags. There is also a washer and dryer if you need to get laundry done. We have high speed Starlink Internet (300MBPS) and a level 2 EV Charger for your Teslas, Rivians and any EV with a J1772 plug.

The whole nine acre property is yours to fall in love with! Once you drive into the property, you have the privacy to enjoy the home and the property.

Other things to note
Security Cameras:
Please note we have two exterior cameras for security purposes - one in front of the house facing the driveway and one at the gate as you enter the property.

Drinking Water: Our well water tastes great. It's double filtered through a whole house filter and there's a Brita filter in the kitchen for additional filtration. Please bring your reusable water bottles and save money and our planet. Thanks!

Internet:
With Starlink Internet, you can combine work and play. On average we get 300MBPS down / 100MBPS up which is great for Zoom calls for your whole group.

Electric Vehicle Charging (Additional Cost):
We have a standard level 2 EV charger that you can use to charge any EV for an additional cost. We will let you know exactly how much you used during your stay and charge you what the power company will charge us for KWH used at the end of your trip. Tesla owners, don’t forget to get your J1772 adapter!

Pets:
We are pet-friendly. If you are bringing your pet, please let us know when you book. We charge an of $50/pet/stay for additional cleaning. Below are the house rules that you MUST follow:

- Pet must be house broken
- Pets are NOT allowed on any furniture or beds
- Pet MUST NOT be left unattended at home anytime
- You should pick up after the pet in and around the property

Groceries & Restaurants:
Since we are between Mariposa and the Park, it would be convenient to do your groceries in Mariposa on the way to the home. Pioneer Market is open until 10:00 pm throughout the year. There’s also an organic country health food store that we love with lots of vegetarian options. They usually close at 7:30 PM.

There are a few nice restaurants in Mariposa that might require reservations during busy times of the year. None of them stay open super late, so please call ahead.

Our home is in a quiet neighborhood with large properties. During your stay you would most probably not see any of the neighbors, but please drive slow and observe all posted signs.

Shyam and I live in the Bay Area area and love the outdoors. California has some great national parks and we visit them multiple times a year with our three boys to hike, backpack, and watch and photograph wildlife. We host three homes on Airbnb - one near Yosemite and two just outside Lassen National Park. Mariposa area has been our favorite staging area for our Yosemite adventures and we bought a home in 2018 to make our trips more convenient. We’ve enjoyed hosting hundreds of guests who share our interest in outdoors and appreciate a private, modern place to stay with great views of the Sierra. Most guests take a day off from driving to the park to hang out and enjoy the property. We bought our second cabin just outside Lassen National Park in Shingletown. We are hoping to have many adventures there while welcoming guests to enjoy a creekside cabin, 10 minutes from the wonders of Lassen. Our third cabin is in Mineral, near the southwest entrance to Lassen National Park. Built in 2018, it's the perfect cabin for a small family looking for an adventure in summer or winter.
