About This Listing
Trillium is a casual fine dining restaurant with 3 beautiful little guest rooms upstairs. Two of our rooms have ocean views and share 1 bathroom, and the other room overlooks the town of Mendocino, and has its own bathroom.
The rooms are above our restaurant, which is open for lunch and dinner daily, and brunch on the weekends. Our rooms are very simple. They are all newly decorated and have all new beds and furnishings. We don't recommend bringing small children, our windows aren't safe for little kids when open. The stairs are also quite steep. The rooms are on the second story. The restaurant is completely handicap accessible. At this time we are not serving breakfast with the room price, but do plan to do a continental breakfast soon. We do have coffee and tea in the morning.
Guests will be provided with keys for the front door and room keys.

Loved our stay at Trillium. Sandra and Saul are warm and welcoming. Their inn is charming and clean, and it's a block away from sweeping coastal views. Coordinating arrival and activities was a breeze. Breakfast (those scones!) is killer. Would recommend to anyone.
The Trillium was so cute and everything was perfect for us. The dinner there was amazing! We would recommend it to everyone!!
Loved my stay at Trillium! The room with the ocean view was wonderful, super clean and right in the center of town. Make sure to eat at the restaurant downstairs, delicious. Breakfast was awesome, homemade scones. I also had to work from the room one afternoon and the Internet was really fast so thanks! Unfortunately, didn't get to meet Sandra but Saul was lovely. Highly recommend! Would definitely stay again. Thanks!
The Inn is great. Nice room. The shared bathroom is very clean!
This was our first Airbnb stay and we'll definitely be coming back! Stayed in room # 1 and room #2 which were essentially the same except room # 1 had a slighter better view of the ocean and was a bit closer to the shared bathroom. Room # 3 has its' own bathroom. The views are absolutely spectacular I might add!! My husband and I never had any issues with sharing a bathroom with another couple. Trillium is perfectly situated in the middle of town, you can walk anywhere and the coast is literally a minute away. They even include a delicious homemade granola parfait and scones with tea or coffee in the morning. During the 3 nights we were there they did rotate the scones with muffins and even a cinnamon roll. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend dining downstairs as well. We did for our anniversary. Very romantic. My husband and I did try checking in very early, 8:30 am...and it is my fault entirely for getting back with Ms. Sandra so late at night in regards to that. The room had been rented to another couple (which of course makes sense), hence we were not able to check in yet that early. But, we were able to have breakfast there right on the spot (which was so kind as I was incredibly nauseous after the trip up) AND the room was even ready before 11 am! Thank you Mr. Saw and Ms. Sandra! On another note, I am not sure how very early sleepers would fare as you can certainly hear people dining downstairs in the evening. I am not positive exactly when the noise dies down, as we did not have any problems falling asleep after a long day outside. Breakfast is usually served at 0830 so no morning noise till then!! (:
Trillium Cafe and Inn is a wonderful respite with a great view. The rooms are quite comfortable and with three windows, the gentle sea breezes flowed thru the room. The bathroom is spacious and has a heater for the chilly mornings. The hosts are gracious and friendly. We appreciated their suggestions on what areas to visit. The sumptuous continental breakfast was a welcome sight when descending the stairs each morning following the aroma for the fresh brewed coffee.
Very cute room with a beautiful view of the ocean! No one was staying in the other room that shared the bathroom so my boyfriend and I had it to ourselves. The restaurant downstairs was also really good for dinner. Right in the heart of cute little Mendocino, and close to the park with beautiful views of the coastline. Perfect for what we needed for a short weekend getaway from the city. We had to leave early in the morning before the normal continental breakfast, so they left out biscotti and coffee for us which was very thoughtful!

About the Host, Sandra
My husband Saul and I bought the restaurant last year and opened in March. We are really enjoying running our own business, and have a great time meeting all our new guests, and creating the new menus for the restaurant.
