Jen and Sean were very welcoming and helpful. I stayed with them one month this winter and, even as the weather conditions weren't great, Sean picked me up at the airport and helped me getting accustomed. The basement suit is very comfortable and practical. The neighborhood is residential and very calm, but you can get to Kingston's main mall by foot (ca. 20 minutes) or by bus. The public transportation is quite extensive and you'll just need 40 minutes to go downtown (1 bus stops every half hour just beside Jen and Sean's house, and connects with the Kingston Express deserving main areas of the city).
Jen was incredibly welcoming and friendly; she welcomed us like family and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, including supplying gluten free treats and fresh flowers. The suite was just as described and was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. I hope to get a chance to stay with Jen and Sean again.
Jen and Sean were wonderful hosts and their apartment is good value. We had very few problems, and Jen and Sean helped resolve each of these quickly and completely. The apartment is well equipped -- we were able to make the meals we needed (we are avid cooks) in the small kitchen. We would stay there again.
Jen and Sean's apartment is new, tastefully and well-furnished, clean and very comfortable! Their location is quiet and is close to all amenities. Parking is available on their driveway. For most vacationers, their place is a true home away from home!
My daughter and I were in Kingston, however, to chaperone my son for 1 week of back to back sailing regattas at CORK. One of my goals was to cook meals for him and his partner and to have extras frozen for their second week when I would not be there. I was initially hesitant to book at Jen and Sean's as they did not have a full kitchen but they went above and beyond my expectations to accommodate us and to meet my cooking needs! Although the apartment has only a kitchenette, they ensured it was well-supplied (measuring cup and spoons, slow cooker, electric skillet, spices, cutting board, knives, foil and plastic wrap etc). I couldn't ask for anything more and I was able to accomplish my cooking goal!
Jen and Sean are extraordinary hosts and are very gracious and welcoming!! I highly recommend their place!
About the Host, Jen & Sean
Hello. We are a married couple of 18 years with a beautiful family. Sean is a mortgage broker and Jen is a registered nurse with a Life Coaching practice. We've been blessed with great careers and a lovely home in which we created your guest suite--your home away from home. We are travellers ourselves and appreciate staying in a clean, safe, environment with ample privacy.
We love going to our cottage, having friends over, visiting with our older son and grand daughter, serving our church, and we hope to take the kids for an extended stay in Europe next year.
