Dawn is so kind and welcoming! I love her! The listing description was very accurate, and everything was exactly as described and photographed.
When we arrived, Dawn and her family were still next door at home before heading out to a sushi dinner, and she promptly greeted us and showed us the property, gave us tips on the neighborhood and her favorite places, and even had a bottle of Chilean red wine waiting for us. Along with that, she had prepared a booklet with detailed information about Silver Lake and had bus schedule brochures laid out. Dawn was detailed, organized and I really appreciated her attention to the small things like fresh towels, extra blankets, toiletries, ice tray filled, half-and-half in the refrigerator, etc. She should be a hotelier.
This Silver Lake gem is clean, modern, in a perfect location and so cozy. We immediately felt at home, and I felt really sad on our last day. I think I really got attached to the home and Silver Lake! We look forward to returning ASAP! It’s a good thing we live in San Francisco, so we can get there more often.
This place is absolutely wonderful: It's an island of peace and tranquility to recover from exploring crazy LA! We stayed here two nights during our California roadtrip. The location is great and the apartment is absolutely stunning. It's brand new, very stylish and has all the premium amenities included. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly, having parking included is a major plus. Will return the next time we are in LA!
Dawn was very welcoming and easy to get a hold of! She made herself very available for questions, feedback, and even ideas for things to do. The place was exactly as pictured - very cozy, clean, and comfortable. We had everything we needed from the basics (towels, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, etc.) to the "extras" (cookware/dishes, nice selection of coffee and cream in the fridge, sunscreen and aloe, etc.) There's a driveway so no need to find/deal with street parking. Lots of things in walking distance (coffee shop, 7/11, liquor store, etc.) and located in a nice, safe area. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
We stayed at Dawns place for a month with our little daughter and we absolutely loved it. The place feels like new and is very clean and comfortable, everything looks as in the pictures - but even more spacious. The neighborhood is great with cosy cafes and restaurants down the street and with Sunset Junction just a short walk away.
Dawn and her family were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. She was always easy to get in touch with and gave us a lot of recommendations of things to do in the area. We would definitely recommend this place, we miss it already and hope to come back one day!
Great place. Exactly as described. Dawn was an excellent communicator throughout. She made it easy.
Parking is a bit tricky as the neighborhood is quite busy (to be expected in this part of LA).
Very walkable to great breakfast, coffee, and shopping.
Would definitely book here again.
