About This Listing
Our flat is located in a charming Berlin apartment building dating from 1876 in Berlin's trendy neighborhood "Prenzlauer Berg". As one of the few this house reflects the reversal time atmosphere of East Berlin neighborhood life.
The apartment (32sqm) is on raised ground floor (not ground floor!) and is individually appointed. A double bed (180x200) is available, as well as a small kitchen and a bathroom with a tub and shower curtain.
In every room there is stucco - in the bathroom the stucco has been bared and is preserved in an exemplary way.
The wide and sunny walkway in front of the house invites you to linger. In and in front of the Souterrain-Shop you can enjoy Mate in many different flavours.
Berlin's attractions, such as the Brandenburg Gate, Hackescher Markt, Reichstag, Museum Island as well as shops, restaurants, cafés are easily reached by foot or public transport.
The ideal own home for Berlin tourists, night owls or relatives to visit in an urban oasis with nice tenants.
We look forward to seeing you!
The underground (U2) is in the immediate vicinity (Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz and Senefelder Platz). Hackescher Markt (suburban train) and Alexanderplatz (suburban train) are within walking distance. Several tram lines complement the public transport links.
Other Things to Note
Arrival with car: Our area is on-street parking controlled. From Mondays to Saturdays (9am-midnight) parking costs 1Euro/hour. On Sundays and red-letter days parking is free of charge. Parking for free is 10-15 minutes from the house - at northern Prenzlauer Berg and Volkspark Friedrichshain. On enquiry we can provide a parking ticket that allows you to park the car in front of the house safe and comfortable.
Fühlt Euch wie zuhause - Make yourself at home
This place is G R E A T! A lot space, big bed, great kitchen, great bathroom, clean and so close to everything. You got the subway 1 block away, and if you like to walk, can get to AlexanderPlatz in a short walk. Henrik is very friendly and speak great Spanish (gracias!)
He meet us for the keys, show how the flat works, everything was clean and work perfect. The heat system works great to.
He also has a basket with a los of maps, and info about Berlin, so is easy to know what to do.
Me and my wife stay were for 4 nights and we love the place, feels like home.
I'll recommended 100%
Henrik and Sven are the perfect hosts. They are warm and welcoming and happy to answer any questions and give tips and advice. Then they leave you to yourselves, but make it clear they are around to help if necessary. The flat is exactly as described, cosy and well equipped, and full of character. The bed is very comfortable. The location is central without being noisy. It is a short distance from the UBahn, and only 2 stops away from Alexander Platz. There are plenty of nice shops and restaurants nearby. Completely recommended. We had a great time. Thanks Henrik and Sven.
Henrik was easy to make arrangements with. Flat is charming. Great location. All round great choice for a lovely base.
Very nice and cosy appartment and nice and friendly host. The appartment is situated in Strassburger Strasse with very little traffic so no noise and is the area where Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg meets so very close both to Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg. Will be very glad to go back there and recommends highly
This stay was great! Scenes and Henrik were great hosts, both with regards to flexibility on arrival/departure as well as amble information both before and during our stay. We got a great bunch of tips and followed several of them. All in all we felt very welcome! Prenzlauer Berg is perhaps the nicest area of Berlin and the apartment is perfectly situated close to shops and cafés - and equally in walking distance from Alexanderplatz, from where you can take the train to/from the airport. We would definitely stay here another time!
