  • Cimbolello was an ideal vacation accamodation for our small family! We have a 1.5 year old son and a 3.5 year old son and we were so thrilled to be able to send them outside everyday to watch the sheep, play with the dogs and chase after the chickens! It was an incredible five day vacation and Francesco, Louisa and their son were the perfect hosts. Their son, Sebastiano, is an excellent chef who prepared a phenomenal fresh ricotta and walnut pasta for us on a Sunday afternoon overlooking their weeping willow tree and the sheep pasture. Their organic farm is beautiful and the products they make there are filled with love and respect for their land. It was a truly magical time and we will come back as often as we can! Thanks you Francesco and Louisa!!!!

  • My friend and I had such a wonderful time staying with Francesco and Luisa. The farm is in a really beautiful location and the apartment had everything we needed. Luisa even taught us how to make fresh pasta! I'd recommend staying here to anyone (and everyone). Also, if you get a chance to visit the nearest town, Cita della Pieve, you need to eat at Bistro del Duca!

  • We had a wonderful stay. Francesco picked us from the bus stop on our arrival. Our hosts where very nice, they even provided us some fresh eggs from their farm. We arrived late in the evening and Luisa was nice enough to offerer us something to eat. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying here if you would like to experience the southern part of Tuscany and Umbria. We rented a car in Chiusi and decided to drive to Florence, Pisa, And many other small Tuscan towns. The train is also available from Chiusi to most destinations around Italy. Francesco and Luisa made us a pizza lunch and shared some of their home made red wine. Everything tasted amazing. We stayed two weeks and that wasn't long enough.

    Thank you

  • My boyfriend and I stayed in Francesco's apartment for four days and absolutely loved it. The main town is only minutes away by car, and has tons of cool old alleys to explore (you'll find Serenella's down one of them-- if you want some good pizza ; ) We went to a different hot spring each day, which was really nice, but I wish we'd had more time to just hang out on the farm. Make sure to save room in your bag, as Francesco sells fresh olives, olive oil, honey, sheep cheese, etc... This was our favorite bnb!

  • Our stay at Cimbollelo was one of the parts of the trip that we were most excited about and it was even better than we were hoping for! We LOVED our stay at this beautiful eco-friendly farm and have been telling everyone we know about it. Francesco and Luisa were so warm, friendly, and willing to answer any questions we had about the farm. The apartment itself was beautifully rustic, so clean, and so spacious. We ate a few meals outside in the lovely backyard, were visited by their sweet pets, and fed our leftovers to the chickens. We purchased some of their homemade wine (drank it already, so good!) and some of Luisa's lavender soaps. It was a wonderful stop in our busy Italy schedule and we would love to stay again sometime. Also, the small town of Citta della Pieve was Umbrian perfection. We were able to see their Palio and it made the whole stay even more perfect. Grazie mille, Francesco and Luisa, for being such wonderful hosts! We loved getting to know you and your family!

  • We had a fantastic holiday at Francesco et Luisa's. They are very sweet people, eager to share their experience and their time. The appartment is really nice with everything that you need. We were able to taste their production. And the most enthousiastic member of the family was our 4 year-old daughter who enjoyed spending time with the dogs, the cats and especially Luisa with whom she was able to go get the eggs. She already wants to get back! So do not hesitate a second and book at Cimbolello :-)

  • Francesco & Luisa were dream hosts, as was their son Niccolo. We wanted to stay forever!

We are located at an altitude of 480 metres. Facing nearby Tuscany, the farm is composed of a vineyard, olive grove, field for several sheep, household pets, bees, and a nearby forest facing which is our house and agritourism apartments (completely self-sufficient) which we offer year round. The farm produces wine, oil, honey, cheeses, and many other products.
