We had a great stay at the Beach House - everything was as expected! We enjoyed watching a little seal swim around the bay and I lost count of all the different birds we saw. We took a hike around Ebey's Landing and saw four bald eagles. Fun! Our host, Jess, was great with communications and very generous in offering the use of kayaks, etc., which would be great fun in warmer months.
We had a great time at this wonderful, well equipped house. the view was spectacular, and it was fun to watch all of the different birds (bald eagles, herons, buffleheads, hawks). We spent alot of time on the back deck enjoying the view & nature.
This great beach house was everything it promised and more.
Very clean and comfortable and ready for our arrival.
We hope every Air BnB stay is this enjoyable!
Our favorite things about this place were: the view and the very detailed instructions and helpful area recommendations. One of the restaurant recommendations was Christopher's in Coupeville, which turned out to be amazing!
It was a lovely getaway. Beautiful location, sweet house, incredible view. It was exactly as advertised. We hope to return sometime...
My wife and I took my parents, who were visiting from the Midwest, out to Whidbey Island to experience the best that the PNW has to offer and we weren't disappointed. The cabin is perfectly place in a quite neighborhood right on the waters edge. The kitchen, dinning, and living room have huge window so that you can perfectly seen all of Holmes Harbor. The bonus for this place is that the grocery store is only a 10 minute walk making the this place the perfect weekend getaway cottage. Thanks for everything Jesse!
Jessica's cottage was terrific for our family vacation (two adults, two children ages 7 and 9). The listing was accurately described, although it would be hard to capture in words how beautiful the view is from the property. The cottage is well-laid out on the interior - from the front rooms all you see is the bay. The back rooms are the bedrooms, which worked well when the kids went to bed before the grown-ups. We found the cottage to be plenty spacious for the four of us. The location is ideal for exploring Whidbey. As described by others, the kitchen is incredibly well stocked for a rental. I think what makes this place stand out is how thoughtfully the cottage has been organized and kept up. The cottage strikes that balance between feeling as comfortable as a temporary home while also leaving space for guests. Finally, Jessica was great to work with as a host. Responsive, warm, and professional. Thanks for a great vacation on Whidbey!
I live on Whidbey Island, and have lived in New England, North Carolina, Marin County and the San Fransisco Bay Area, went to Cal Berkeley, lived in Central America, Mexico, and Japan. I love to share our beach house with others so they can taste the Whidbey beach life. I don't live at the house and may not meet you, but I am happy to communicate and share details and Island info in anyway that makes your stay more relaxing and peaceful. Check in is easy and self serve. Welcome to Whidbey Island.
