  • The host made things simple and convenient for us and we felt like we could contact her at any time if we had any problems. Nice location on the water and the town was interesting too, despite its small size.

  • By far the most relaxing, enjoyable get-away yet! Jessica's place is cozy, inviting, and well-stocked. The photos are true to the setting and space. Walk the beach, put together a jigsaw puzzle, stroll into town for coffee or dinner, or even drive to Langley and hike through the Saratoga Woods Preserve - beautiful!
Thank you, Jessica ~ We will be back soon!

  • The Whidbey Beach House was a perfect getaway for our long weekend - calm, quiet, beautiful and stocked with everything we needed. The location is gorgeous, and an easy drive to all kinds of basics like groceries and fun stuff like wineries, distilleries, parks and more. We had a 1.5 year old with us and it was a great place for her - open play space inside, perfect beach outside, lots to see and do. As for the house - nice big living room, great wood stove, nice kitchen, comfy beds, great view, plenty of room, just cozy and lovely inside and out. Dishwasher and laundry are also a nice bonus when you're on vacation. Jess was communicative and helpful - not that we really needed much since it was all very well arranged and set up in advance.
We had a wonderful experience here, and gladly recommend it to other AirBnB travelers. We'll be back!

  • We loved this house. It felt like staying at friend or family member's home and the view was spectacular every day. We will definitely be back.

There are binoculars there but if you like to watch birds bring your own too.

    Thank you so much Jessica!

  • My son and I spent 4 days here and it was wonderful! The house was cozy and comfortable, not sterile and anonymous like a hotel. It made it so easy to settle in and feel at home. My son enjoyed his time on the water in the kayak, even though I thought he was crazy for being out on the water this time of year. I spent a lot of time curled up on the couch with a good book watching the birds in the harbor. It was great to totally lose ourselves in the peace of the island. We can hardly wait til we can go back! The only thing we found disappointing was the fact we had to come back home so soon!

  • GREAT views! The house had two massive picture windows that really brought the outdoors in and the seating was arranged to maximize it. Jessica was a wonderful hostess, too - she was flexible and accommodating and left several pairs of binoculars for us to use to enjoy the ducks and herons in the water. The house is also ideally located on the island - close to beaches for clamming or swimming, near several glassblowing studios, some galleries, grocery stores, and restaurants but far enough away that you really feel more isolated.

  • We had a wonderful weekend at your home, thank you! After traveling through snow, snow & more snow, we made it up to find a warm & inviting home awaiting.

Your home has a great layout taking great advantage of the amazing water view. We enjoyed eating breakfast & watching herons in the trees, bunnies in the grass & two deer leaping through your neighbor’s yard! Our little boys loved the kids room, enjoyed the piano and we all appreciated the comfort of your forced air heating system (we have electric base boards at our house so this is a total luxury!).

Many, many thanks. We will plan on coming back in the warmer months.

  • We only had a short stay but would love to return to this great house (in an amazing location). The house sits right on the water. The house is cozy, yet there's plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a big meal. It was very comfortable.

  • The cabin was very cozy and friendly feeling. The weather was very wet and cold while we were there but we just stayed in and watched all the sea birdsand the storms come and go across the water through the big windows in the living room and dining area. It was a wonderful time of year to have such a cozy place to watch it all while we played games, read, cooked, and talked.

  • The beach house was beyond my expectations. The livingroom was perfect for all our needs, which included watching the beautiful view of the harbor and wildlife, puzzling, reading, listening to music, watching movies and crafting. The kitchen suited all our needs, including baking many dozen holiday cookies. The bedrooms were comfortable and roomy (plenty of space to unpack and settle in for the week). The location was perfect. We enjoyed walks on the beach and into town. We really loved a surprise visit from Santa on a firetruck.
