  • We came down for the weekend and had a great experience. Ken was a gracious, well organized host and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is also a great location and easily accessible from the subway. If you're coming into the City and need a quick, clean, well priced place to stay Uptown, this is your place.

  • Staying with Ken was great, much better than any hostel experience! The apartment had everything we needed. We were only there really to sleep as NYC keeps you busy but it was nice to come back to a quiet apartment and comfy bed. Ken was lovely and offered his local knowledge which was very helpful, close to the 1,2,3 lines and not too far from the A, B, c subway. All in all I recommend kens apartment. Thank you

  • It is not easy to find a compromise between price and luxury in New York. The flat was located in Harlem directly at the 125th and near to the station. It was well connected to visit the different places in New York. As it was Christmas time we had to share the flat with another couple. As the bathroom is smaller it is a bit uncomfortable. The kitchen was well equipped.

  • This was my first Airbnb stay and it went incredibly smoothly. Ken's apartment (more so than apartment building, which is out of his hands) was clean. Access to the subway was incredibly convenient and nearby. We used Ken's list of recommended local cafés and restaurants. The plans for checking in and out were simple and pretty straight forward. I would recommend staying at Ken's to a friend traveling to New York.

  • I arrived at Ken's flat on a Sunday afternoon and left on Wednesdays morning. I was in the city for a specific purpose and was very busy and only need a crash-pad more or less so I can't speak to anything more involved than that. Meaning I did not have meals there etc (I didn't need to) or entertain myself with TV etc (although he had all that). It served my purposes 100%. Ken is very nice and accommodating. Again because of my schedule I did not interact with him much. But he clearly is an open and warm person. With the A train a couple blocks away on one side of you and the Broadway line on the other side, the location is probably one of the top most accessible areas as far as getting around the city. I have no complaints.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed with Ken in Manhattanville for a week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Being our first experience with air bnb we were a little apprehensive at first but after staying with Ken it is a service we would not hesitate to use again. Ken's apartment is bright and airy with spacious rooms available to rent. Ken was a welcoming and friendly host being more than happy to provide us with information on the local area as well as answering all our questions before our arrival. The flat is situated (email hidden)ly community in which we felt completely safe in be it during the day or returning after dark. All necessary amenities we situated within a 2-3 block radius with Ken being happy to give directions. Great transport links to Manhattan (two subway stops both within 2-10 walk) make this apartment an ideal option for tourists like us who will spend a lot of time downtown. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

  • Ken was a brilliant host. Really friendly and welcoming. He was happy to leave arrival time and departure time flexible - which always makes it easier. The apartment was nice... basic but had everything you could want/need for a short stay. It was close to the A train and 1 line which was great and meant that you could get downtown quickly - despite being up in Harlem.

    Brilliant time in NYC.

  • It was my first experience with Airbnb, our stay in ken’s apartment was great, Ken is a perfect host, he was very friendly but unfortunately we didn’t discuss much because I'm not speaking English very well, the apartment is very clean, the neighborhood is very close to the subway (1 or A, B, C, D).

So I recommend Ken and his place without any doubt
