We have a great Post & Beam Barn with bed and loft - the perfect space for up to four people. During the winter It's a bit cold as there is no heat, but if you like camping in the winter, the space is dry and has power and very peaceful.
Our house is 75 feet away where you can use the bathroom and kitchen.

It was cold but we had a record-breaking cold night. Robert made this abundantly clear and it was our choice to stay in the cabin overnight. The cabin is very quaint and the location quiet and ideal. The bathroom and shower are in the house which is the only major downside but this is also made clear in the listing.
Robert is super friendly and social and could not be more accommodating. He also gave us some great recommendations of places to see and things to do in the area. Thank you for the great experience.
We made a last-minute reservation (day of), and Robert was more than accommodating. It was COLD, but we chose to stick it out in the barn, even though he offered us an indoor room for the same price. With extra blankets the night was comfortable, even in sub-freezing temperatures. Gorgeous property, nice location, good company. And there was a frozen lake nearby, which was a lot of fun to slide around on.
The place was lovely, clean, and Robert was incredibly kind. He let us sleep in his house because the barn was so cold. He has a sweet farm and offered us fresh food and coffee. We loved his organic, environmentally friendly house and hope to visit again in the summer time.
Robert was a great host, very accommodating especially because we arrived a bit later than we planned. He also made delicious pancakes in the morning! The cabin itself was amazing, beautiful on the inside and incredibly cozy. It was very cold but Robert supplied enough blankets to keep us comfortable. Also it was very conveniently located to the main house so using the bathroom was not an issue. Overall a great experience, highly recommended for anyone who wants a little bit of a rustic getaway!
Robert's home was great! My girlfriend and I arrived in the early evening and stayed for one night as a get-away from the city. The barn is very private and cozy and the surroundings are beautiful! It's a little cold as described, but is great and comfortable with blankets. Robert left out a delicious breakfast of blueberry pancakes that he made with coffee in the morning too. His housemate was very nice as well, and recommended hiking areas for us in the morning. Definitely a unique room to stay in that I would recommend if you are stopping by the area!
Robert is very warm and welcoming! His home is the perfect oasis for a weekend getaway. The fall foliage and natural surroundings are superb. He has great restaurant recommendations and is happy to provide you with suggestions of daily activities if needed.
The barn was super cool- and indeed we rented in mid-October so the nights were cold but it's what we expected :) He was also kind enough to cook us dinner with the produce made from his farm, and blueberry pancakes the next morning... just awesome!
It was a great stay at Robert's barn. We arrived later than planned, but Robert was very accommodating and welcoming. I had the best sleep in months in the barn. We hope to make it back at some point!
