Featured in Conde Nast Traveler " 25 Best Airbnbs in Ireland" 2023. My guest small studio is part of my cottage but very private with its own entrance and small garden for your exclusive use. Queen size bed, TV, en suite shower, kitchenette with basic cooking facilities. 35 minutes to Dublin Airport.10 to 15 mins to Tara, Newgrange and local wedding venues, Ballymagarvey, Slane Castle, The Mill House, Tankardstown , Bellinter House. And Emerald Park too.

The space
Over the years my cottage has been popular with guests attending local wedding venues, Ballymagarvey, The Mill House, Tankardstown and Bellinter House. All around 10 minutes away. I have also enjoyed hosting tourists from all over the world who come to see Meath's many historic sites and beautiful countryside. Only 45 minutes from Dublin city centre and 35 minutes from Dublin airport. With own private little garden. It is the perfect size for a couple Public transport is NOT convienient, your own transport is essential.

You have the guest suite to yourself. The small kitchenette is suitable for preparing breakfast and light meals, which can be eaten in your room or in your own private area in the garden. You are welcome to pick lettice and tomatoes from my polytunnel.
Other things to note
My place is rural. So please only book if you are intending on bringing a car.
The local village is only 5 minutes away. The nearest big town- Navan, is less than 10 minutes. Drogheda 25 mins. Dublin City centre 45mins. No shops within walking distance.
The kitchenette has basic cooking facilities suitable for making light meals (kettle toaster microwave, air fryer, and fridge) Tea and coffee are provided. Food can be eaten in your room or in your private outside space in the garden.
You will find locally made bathing products and quality linen in your room.
Hi speed fibre broadband. Hot water. But please run the tap for a few minutes to allow the water to travel from the far end of the house! The electric shower is instantly hot.

I love my country cottage and garden. It is only 10 minutes from Tara and 15 from Newgrange. Slane and it's many interesting places including the wonderful new Whiskey distillery is less than 10 minutes away, and the nearest large town of Navan is 10 minutes. It is a peaceful retreat but Dublin airport is only 35 minutes away!.
