Beautifully designed and executed by local craftsmen La Vida Loca has 5 large bedrooms and 6.5 baths, plus a library with 2 double futons, a circular home away from home with a full office including internet, huge terraces, and a private pool.
The palm tree theme is evident everywhere - from the carving on the front door to the unique wrought iron railings. A lovely water feature greets you at the door, setting the restful tone of this villa.
Enter into the grand foyer, with a view through dining and living room on to the fabulous terrace and right out to the pool.
A full kitchen with an eat-in island is off to one side, while the office towers next to the staircase. The office has a curved sofa that extends to make a circular bed. A full bath, laundry room, and garage are off the foyer.
Two covered outdoor rooms surround the pool, with an outdoor bar and grill area to supplement the full kitchen. The outdoor area is very private, with a Spanish design wall and mature landscaping everywhere, leading to an intimate green space for hammocks in the shade on the other side of the waterfall.
The master bedroom and en suite bath are on ground level overlooking garden and pool area. The double cushioned lounger on the terrace off the bedroom is a romantic spot to nap or read a book.
Upstairs the 4 bedrooms radiate off the library with 2 double futons. 3 out of 4 suites have direct access to the ell shaped terraces overlooking the pool area. Three bedrooms have king beds, one has 2 queens, to sleep up to 18 people.
400 - 500 count linens and the highest quality mattresses are found in each room. 5 flat screen TV's provide entertainment everywhere.
The dramatic roof top terrace with a second bar area with fridge, built-in seating and dining area plus a half bath invites you to catch sunrise or sunset in a wonderful space.
This is a special property - perfect for adult gatherings of friends or family. Children under the age of 10 will be considered on an individual basis.
Please note that the rates for this property are based on 12 people. For additional guests US 250 per person applies for up to a maximum of 18 people.

1.- Vacation Rental Rates are in US Dollars (USD) and include tax. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates can vary.
2.- Your rental needs to be paid in USD by check or money order.
3.- Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival are refundable at the owners discretion based on ability to re-rent. A US 250 handling fee applies for all cancellations. No refund on holiday rentals.
4.- If travel is restricted by the US Government or Airlines forcing a cancellation, your vacation rental can be rescheduled within a year. No refunds. Adjustments for seasonal changes may apply. A low season rental will be honored without additional charge. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
5.- Maximum occupancy includes all children no matter what age. No additional guests. No exceptions. Contract will be null and void and you will be asked to leave.
6.-No pets allowed.
7.-No smoking inside the property.
8.- Three night minimum stay.
9.- Check-in 3:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Early check in and/or late check out can be arranged at half a days rate if possible.
10.- All vacation rentals are subject to Mexican laws and regulations. Unless stated otherwise in the property description our vacation homes include maid service three times a week. No maid service on Sundays and Mexican holidays. Maid service can be increased for an additional charge of $35 per day.
11.- We will email you directions and entry procedures around two weeks prior to your arrival. Directions are from Cancun Airport to your vacation home. Entry procedures include the lock box code for the house and service phone numbers. Please remember to bring these instructions with you.
12.- Water and electricity are the two most valuable commodities. Please conserve both. Shut off air conditioners when not using the bedrooms, and when leaving the premises. Air conditioners found running with the windows open will result in forfeiture of security deposit.
13.- Use common sense and to ensure a safe trip, lock all doors and windows when leaving your vacation home.
Aracely was born in Veracruz and has lived here in Playa for 17 years and Leah is born in Vancouver, B.C. living here in Playa for 5 years. We work at American Realty office in the center of town.
