Our fully equipped 17' travel trailer sits atop the hill and overlooks the beautiful Bras d'Or Lake. There's a propane powered fridge/freezer, stove, & heat/hot water & 3-piece bathroom. Bedding, towels, toiletries & lawn chairs provided. You just need to bring your food and drinking/cooking water (trailer water is not potable)!
We are centrally located between the Cabot Trail and the Fortress of Louisbourg.

The space
Our rural, off the beaten path farm is a lovely 22 km drive up the Kempt Head Road. Sitting atop the hill, there is a lovely view of the beautiful Bras d'Or Lake. The trailer is situated in a clearing on the edge of the woods. There are approx 3 km of walking trails on the property. The Ross Ferry Marine Park is close by. WiFi is available down by the house and at the Ross Ferry Marine Park.

Other things to note
Our dogs have full access to our property. A meet and greet can be arranged.
There may be Bed and Breakfast guests on site in some of the common outdoor spaces.
We are a 4-Star Bed and Breakfast (Canada Select) registered with the Province of Nova Scotia. We are an active member of the Nova Scotia Bed and Breakfast Assoc (NSBBA) and a member of TIANS. We have implemented the NSBBA Enhanced Cleaning Protocols and the AirBnB Enhanced Cleaning Protocol. We are a certified "Clean it Right" accommodation. Formerly licenced with the Province of Nova Scotia (now registered) we have been welcoming guests since August 2012.

We are smack dab in the middle of spectacular no where! Baddeck and Sydney are about 45 minutes away. The Fortress of Louisbourg and the surrounding area makes for a lovely day trip. There are two restaurants close by, but who wants to eat at a restaurant when you can cook over the fire.

I am a farmer, tourist operator, volunteer, and amateur photographer. My partner and I moved here to Cape Breton in October 2009 and have never looked back. He works off-site while I manage the farm and the Bed and Breakfast. Cape Breton Island is a magical place filled with beauty and wonder and I am lucky to call this place home.
