Great and bright double room in San Giovanni area (very central). it is equipped with a very comfortable bed, a TV and heating. A huge windows offers a fantastic view on the square and makes the room very bright. The big shared bathroom is equipped with a shower and a bath tub.

Room Occupancy Tax
As in cities like New York, Paris, Barcelona and many other great European capitals, the room occupancy tax helps Rome guarantee its 24 million tourists per year an improved and ever more efficient welcoming service.
The room occupancy tax is 2€ per night per person (for max 10 nights) and will have to be paid onsite.
The Room occupancy tax is required by all hotels and B&B in Rome.
Staying with Salvatore was great! Upon arrival, he provided us with a map and gave us great recommendations for things to see and places to eat at. The bathroom and bedroom were clean and pleasant to stay in. Salvatore was very helpful and nice and even helped us print out our tickets.
That was may first time in airbnb and was great. Salvatore was an excelent guest, very helpfully to meet Roma.
My father and I traveled to Rome for two days for site-seeing and taking it all in. Salvatore was an incredible host! We loved his apartment, which was convenient to the Metro station (5 minute walk through residential area) and very close to the train station to the airport for us to depart (3 blocks away!). Salvatore had a very clean apartment, stocked with food for us to grab on our way out for breakfast. He also was very accommodating with our check in time.
We definitely suggest staying with Salvatore in Rome!
We had a pleasant stay in this flat. The location is central, the room was clean and tidy and we could use the kitchen at any time. The host was very helpful and kind to us. We are very satisfied with our decision to book this flat so would deffinitely recommend it to others.
The apartment was great! The directions were clear, and only a 5 minute walk from the Re di Roma metro station. Nice bathroom and full kitchen, so we could always fuel-up before heading out into the city. We didn't see Salvatore much, because we were always exploring the city. But when he was around, he gave great recommendations. Although there are 2 other Airbnb rooms in the apartment, we didn't see anyone else, so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Will definitely go back my next stay in Rome.
We got there a little later than scheduled and Salvatore was very accommodating. The room was perfect for students like my friend and I. The rest of the house was absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast was great! Also, the you can actually walk to the colosseum!
A great room in a gorgeous flat! I travelled with a friend, and we both had plenty of space for our gear, as there's both a wardrobe and a closet in the room. Two metro stations within short walking distance make it a gat base for sightseeing around the city, and the nearby rail station meant we were able to get a cheap train to Fiumicino in about 40 minutes. Would definitely recommend!
Overall, great experience being in Rome on this trip. Salvatore's was great - hospitable, engaging and helpful in providing information and recommendations.
Regarding the location; excellent location and very easy to find. There is a direct train from the airport to the closest station (which is approximately 5minutes walk to the flat). From the flat, there are multiple and convenient options i.e. supermarket 3mins walk, shopping, bus, train station) etc all walking distance and from there easy to get to the heart of the city. Salvatore's bnb provides a great location for anyone who wants to be in the city of Rome, but away from the crowds, noise and high traffic tourist sites etc.
Comfortable stay, but very warm in the summer. The metro station is very close and there are a lot of little restaurants. I did not know this, but you share the house with two other Air BnB rooms. This is not an issue but it was the first time we stayed at a place with more people.
Overall the stay was great and Salvatore was a nice person, even though he wasn't there very much.
Salvatore was a wonderful host, welcoming, warm, and kind. He waited up until midnight for our arrival even though he had to work the next day. The apartment is tastefully decorated and clean with a modern and bright bathroom. We got the smaller room because the other two rooms were already booked. There is a T.V. and a fan in the room and Salvatore also gave us a big bottle of water and glasses. A nice touch. If you want to get away from the tourist crowds and see a real neighborhood and have coffee at a local bar, then this would be a good place. Easy access to the bus line and subway line, so you can get away from it all but still be close it everything.
