Higher Ground is a private living over 2 levels. Nestled in the Ella mountainside with incredible views, far enough from town to appreciate this beautiful part of the world (20 min walk, short tuk tuk ride or local bus) .
Ella train station is 3km away, about 7min by tuktuk.
Our treehouse, completed in July 2018 is unlike any other accomodation in Ella.
We offer a superb and spacious bathroom constructed of natural stone!
The space
Sleeping up to 6 people over two levels with large balcony, superb bathroom, a small Refrigerator and tea/coffee facilities, Higher Ground offers spacious and comfortable accommodation for the traveller who is after a unique experience!
Please note base rate is for 2 persons only.
Rates for additional guests are 20 EURO per person.

We have an authentic Restaurant located at the 1st level of the property.
Breakfast, lunch or diner NOT INCLUDED, you can order when you are here.
We can serve BREAKFAST (1500rs per person),
Breakfast time is 7:30 to 9:30. We can not serve Breakfast after 9:30am. LUNCH or DINNER (2500rs per meal per person). When you book dinner, you can join our daily cooking class (+500rs per person)
You can not take meal to the room, only at the restaurant
We cook especially sri lankan vegetarian food for you. We are not allowed to sell alcohol. we can prepare fresh fruit juices, we have no soda.
we serve water from a water filter machine to reduce the consumption of plastic bottle, thank you for your concern.

PLEASE NOTE: Higher Ground has steep stairs and a large balcony. It may not suitable for small children and we take NO Responsibility for personal injury. In booking our property, you agree to these conditions.
