Apartment of about 75 sqm. It has a living and sleeping area separated by a small inner courtyard and two bathrooms. In the large bedroom there is a double bed (160x190) and a sofa bed, separated by a red velvet curtain. In the living area we find a kitchenette stocked with everything you need (crockery, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, etc.), the dining table and the 32"Full HD TV.
There is free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating.

The space
This is an apartment that combines practicality and comfort with the Orian and Apulian tradition for the production of wine, dating back to well before the period of Frederick II. In fact, we wanted to dedicate it to the exhibition of the best wines of Salento, exhibited in the various wall-mounted niches and even in an ancient renovated fireplace.

The furniture in fine wood with a simple style, recalls the past without losing in elegance. The apartment is taken care of in every detail, in fact there are wrought iron creations both in the furniture and in the niches. Beautiful red velvet curtains and gold trims give a regal and majestic look.

Inside there is also a courtyard that in Orian culture is still called "ortale”, because it was intended for the cultivation of small plants and vegetables.

Where you’ll be

Oria, Puglia, Italy, Italy

In the Ancient Medieval Village of Oria, within the Messapical walls, are the apartments of Antica Oria. They were born very recently from the renovation of an old house, bringing to light its original beauty.

The exclusive residences, located in the heart of Salento, welcome their guests in 3 themed apartments, which want to pay homage to the memory of the place and are dedicated to those who are medieval weapons and Frederick II ( Sala delle Armi e Sala del Trono) and those who are wines of the territory ( Le Cantine del Re).

Ancient Oria is located under the majestic Cathedral and on the slopes of the Federiciano Castle overlooking the village with its imposition. Piazza Manfredi is 5 meters away and, on foot, you can follow the streets that lead to the main sights. The location of Oria, in the centre of Puglia and 30 minutes from the Grande Salento Airport, makes Antica Oria a strategic location to easily reach every corner of this wonderful land. You can reach the Ionian and Adriatic beaches in 20 minutes and the main art cities and other tourist destinations in about 40 minutes.

You can walk through the streets of the village and admire the new Archaeological Museum of Oria and Messapi, the Basilica-Cathedral dedicated to Mary Most Holy Assumption in Heaven, the Crypt of the Mummies and the Statues of the Passion, the Montalbano Park, the Federician Castle, the Jewish Quarter, the numerous Churches, etc.

The cuisine is rich and varied with restaurants and trattorias of the highest quality and with genuine products. However, each apartment has a kitchenette to prepare and enjoy its own dishes.
