My name is Sherry Boonstra-Barbier and I have been living on Maui for the past 30 years. My family and I initially moved here from Chicago, Illinois aiming to escape the cold weather in the "windy city." In doing so, we landed in Lahaina (Hawaiian for "merciless sun") which happens to be the previous capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Since I arrived here all those years ago I have been operating a Bed and Breakfast out of my home and have gradually expanded to accommodate different types of travelers ranging from Hostel travelers to luxury estates. I have met many wonderful visitors throughout the years, many of which I have become close friends with. With my thorough expertise about the island of Maui, and decades of experience as a host I am confident I can help you make the most of your stay here in the islands.
