The place is beautifully decorated and very comfy. We wanted to feel as though we lived in the US and it gave us that feeling plus very nice ideas we intend on using in our own place. We also loved the woods in the backyard, the beautiful neighborhood with a playground nearby and the kroger at walking distance, which was very handy. Rick and Monica had to be away for a few days but that wasn't a problem because they gave us all the support we needed even from a distance. They are very nice people and very prompt to help. We loved staying there and we'll be back!
Rick and Monica were very welcoming, from the welcome basket full of goodies to the personalized message on the fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the backyard and deck area was nice, although we didn't use it much. It was a great place to stay.
Rick and Monica were amazing hosts. This was our first time using Airbnb, and I can say that the experience was nothing short of fantastic. The place was impeccable with your own private entrance, and you got to enjoy nature out on the deck. Our hosts were extremely accommodating, responding back quickly and with a straight answer, and these two helped whenever they could. It was a hot week, so it was great to use their grill and entire backyard to fulfill my nature-loving needs. The neighborhood was safe, and a convenient driving distance from everything fun around the city. We used both the bed and the sofa bed (which was just as fine, so don't be scared to use it!) to sleep privately. Rick and Monica were such great hosts, you never even saw or heard them even though they were just steps away! This was a great start to me using this service - my friend and I didn't want to leave! When I come back to visit, or if I have friends coming in I will be sure to recommend this spot. The only thing that I was not a fan of was that there were no outlets in the bathroom, which made it hard to do my hair, but with a tall mirror I was able to get the job done! You guys rock - thanks for being such awesome hosts.
Me and a couple buddies have a tradition of catching at least 1 Mets away game every season. (Don't ask, we're not sure why either.)
This year brought us to Atlanta and to Rick and Monica's cozy apartment.
The place is wonderfully set up with all the amenities you need to make it feel like home. It's conveniently located for anything that you'd want to do in ATL, all while being on a quiet residential street with a suburban feel.
Rick and Monica are super accommodating and totally non-invasive but only a phone call away if you need something.
I'd highly recommend staying at Rick and Monica's to anyone who would listen - they personify the term "southern hospitality."
I would however caution against traveling long distances just to see the Mets play.
The place was awesome. It was exactly what I needed. Rick and Monica are such a great hosts. I highly recommend the place
We had a great experience. The apartment was small but we didn't need anything bigger. We stayed in and cooked one night in the small yet adequate kitchen. We also enjoyed the beautiful backyard and deck. The apartment was relatively close to everything. We also slept three to the bed and it was a little cramped but mostly uncomfortable because there is a hump in the center and it slopes to both sides. There were also no outlets in the bathroom, which for three females was kind of inconvenient but we managed throughout the house. Otherwise we loved this little apartment.
We appreciate your input and that you stayed with us. We are sorry that you all shared the bed in the bedroom because the apartment has a queen-sized sofa bed that is very comfortable. The apartment listing indicates two beds that can accommodate up to four people. The extra bedding was left for you in the bedroom closet.
We loved the place. Thank you very much Rick and Monica for everything. You were very careful and attentive leaving toys and books for our baby. It looked like we were in our own home. There's a Kroger near the house. We were very close from Georgia Aquarium, Target, Ross, Bed Bath Beyond, Best buy and others stores. We absolutely recommend this place. We would definitely go back here again.
