We had a great stay, mostly because the location was so great. It is small but comfortable home. Great location--can't say it enough :) Carol and Karen were very responsive and kind hosts. Best for couples/very quiet people
I can only say that Carol is amazing. She received and helped us in everything we need. She was so comprehensive with us. She was very communicative and she was always there for anything we needed!
My friend and I stayed at Carol's place over the summer, and it was great! There were all the supplies you would want. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all the supplies stocked. The location is central to everything in the Mission, and the road is residential (quiet) yet only a street away from all the restaurants, bars, etc which is nice. Karen, who lives above us, was our point of contact for the summer with any apartment questions. She was very responsive to any of out needs or requests! Everyone in the flat was quiet and neighbors were respectful. Overall, it was a great experience staying there for the summer. I would go back again.
Carol's apartment is absolutely lovely... exactly as the pictures depict. It's bright and cheerful in the morning and a great escape from the city in the evening. I was particularly surprised by the great view from the main bedroom! You can see Corona Heights rising in the background and the tip of Mission Dolores Basilica just a couple blocks away. The apartment was comfortable, incredibly convenient, and I was able to really settle in over my 2 month stay.
Carol is one of the kindest, most gracious hostesses I've come across. She greeted me with all the apartment essentials and pointed me in the direction of food and entertainment as soon as I arrived. She got me and a friend tickets to the Marsh theater (which was fabulous!) and offered us suggestions for other local theaters to experience throughout my stay. On a particularly difficult night when I came home a bit upset, she invited me upstairs for tea and we had a great chat about love, life, and travels. She is a genuine San Franciscan and I was lucky to have found her home for my extended stay in the city.
We stayed in Carol’s apartment for a month and absolutely loved it! The location is simply fantastic. It is close to everything either by foot or public transportation. We loved the Mission and our neighborhood with the park close by as well as fabulous restaurants, cafés, shops and everything else just around the corner.
The apartment is perfect for living like a local and it has everything you need in a home. We did some cooking at home and that worked out fine with the utilities. We even baked cookies! The place is quite spacious and it felt really big for just the two of us.
Carol was an awesome host and the best SF guide you possibly could get. She helped us with everything! When we needed something she fixed it right away and was always so nice and sweet. All communications went smooth and enjoyable and when Carol wasn’t in SF Karen took just as good care of us. We will truly miss them both and hope to be back really soon. We definitely left our hearts on Guerrero St.
Perfect location in the best part of San Francisco, the Mission District. Just next to the Dolores Park and also easy to visit other parts of SF. The apartment was nice and clean and neighbors were very friendly and introduced us to the city. We lived there for one week and had a great time!!
