i'm located in the old northeast area of st petersburg, a historic district, many streets are cobblestone brick with live oaks providing beauty and shade, pedestrian and bike friendly and a couple of miles of waterfront parks.
Im about three quarters of a mile from downtown, so its definitely walk-able to lots of great museums/shopping/restaurants/cafes/nightlife/parks. It's about a 20 minute drive to beautiful gulf beaches.
Other Things to Note
i dont have wifi or tv.
NO SMOKING OR CHEWING TOBACCO!
A comfortable apartment in an absolutely phenomenal location! Loved the neighborhood - right across the street from the bay, with such easy access to parks and downtown St Pete. Martha was a gracious hostess and made us feel at home. I hope to return in the future.
Martha's appartment is in an extremely picturesque part of St.Peterburg. The place itself was very cosy and tranquil. Very relaxing. It certainly slows you down in a positive way. It is lovingly and tastefully decorated. You'll find everything necessary for your holiday. The pool is a good size and just downstairs from the flat. parking is free and just at the backdoor.
It is easy to get around and we really enjoyed Caddy's Beach on Treasure island. About 15-20 minutes' drive in the car.
If you have the opportunity to visit Bush Gardens in Tampa, please do. There is something for all ages and it's a fantastic day out.
Martha is a great, caring and well travelled lady. It was nice chatting along, having coffee and enjoying the beautiful premises. I would recommend a stay with her any time. Hopefully we will definitely return one day.
All the best Martha,
Mrs. Martha was very hospitable and the apartment was tidy and very cozy. The neighborhood is very nice everything was just as needed. MY only complaint is that there is no wifi. I was notified beforehand of this but it was still a small inconvenience. Other than that, I'd recommend to anyone.
The apartment was just as described, funky and cozy, across the street from Coffee Pot bayou. The house is in Old Northeast, a charming neighborhood near downtown St. Pete. It took us about 20 minutes to walk to the shops and restaurants.
Martha keeps a low profile, but shares part of herself through her family's vintage photos and decorations that lend the apartment it's unique flavor. Highly recommended!
Le logement est conforme à l'annonce. l'appartement est propre et très bien décoré. Le quartier est calme et sympathique. Tout a été parfait.
The apartment and neighborhood were lovely, we had a very pleasant stay. Martha was kind enough to lend us a couple of cruiser bikes which combined with the bay front trail close by made the easy trips downtown very fun.
We had a wonderful stay at Martha's apartment. It is very comfy, quiet, and in a beautiful neighborhood in St. Pete. Martha was very accommodating and even brought fresh flowers up for us to enjoy. We didn't have time to use them, but loved that she had bikes available. We would definitely stay at Martha's place again if/when we return to the area. Thank you, Martha!
I grew up on Sugarloaf Key (Florida Keys), 90 miles from Cuba. The property is now a state park named after my family-Sammy Creek Landing. My back, and side yard was (and still is) a mangrove swamp and the front is the Atlantic ocean. My siblings and I plotted hurricanes on a paper chart with longitude and latitude lines and "hid" under a hatch-cover (from a boat) table that my grandfather made. We couldn't wait until we could go outside and discover what the storm brought in! This is who I am today-always on the lookout for flotsam and jettison and low tide!
