Paniolo Condominium Complex:
The Paniolo Condominium complex is located in Princeville, a quiet resort community that is home to the Makai and famed Prince golf courses. Princeville is located on a bluff overlooking Hanalei Bay and offers spectacular views of Hanalei Bay and of the famous “Bali Hai” ridge that earned its fame from the movie South Pacific.
Princeville’s roads have many unpleasant speed bumps, yet Paniolo is the ONLY complex perfectly situated to avoid these! Paniolo is also only a 5-10 minute walk from Princeville center where any shopping, eating or business can be accomplished.
The condo is located perfectly for anyone who would prefer not to have to drive, with plenty to see and do on foot.
Just A Few Minutes Away:
Start your morning with a 5-minute walk down the Anini Beach Path (or down Wyllie Rd) to the Westin where you can start your morning with a cup of freshly brewed cup of Starbucks coffee. The Princeville center also has great options for breakfast, coffee and smoothies.
The Magical North Shore:
The North Shore of Kaua'i is ideal for spectacular adventure and tropical escape. Interaction with Guests
We love sharing the love of our island with our guests and totally dig offering our local advice, recommendations and any helpful tips our guests can think of. We feel that vacation time and money is too valuable to waste, so we make a deliberate effort to make ourselves available for questions and make sure to give genuine answers. That being said, we don't like to pester our guests and value their privacy too, so we make our assistance known and easily available, but wait for our guests to request any information they are interested in first, before talking their ear off... ;-)
Princeville is an amazingly convenient and beautiful community on the North Shore. We absolutely love it and here's why:
From our location it is easy to walk to the beach or the grocery store and the views in either direction are spectacular, with ocean one direction and mountains and waterfalls the other! In fact there is a network of fantastic walking and running trails all over Princeville, making it likely the safest and easiest of locations of the island to walk or take a run. Another bonus is that all the golf courses are open for pedestrian exploration after 5pm, which is beyond excellent for sunset strolls.
The coastline below Princeville provides some of the most pristine, clear water due to the lack of rivers and fresh water runoff. Because of these Princeville has some amazing exploring to enjoy below its bluffs (surf conditions permitting!!). The clear water provides some of the very best turtle viewing, snorkeling, pristine coves and nooks and cranny gems on the island. Some of these places are hard to find, so ask us and we will be happy to guide you along with the customized map we provide in the condo. We've fallen in love with Princeville and know you will too!
In general we recommend renting a vehicle while on Kauai as it provides most visitors with the island access and freedom they prefer. However, for those who enjoy to walk and for anyone who would prefer not to drive there is plenty to see and do on foot from the Bamboo Bungalow. There is also the option of public transit with a bus stop only 5-10 minutes walk from the condo. Unfortunately though, Kauai is still a bit behind the times with its public transportation and the bus does not cover the entire island. The furthest the bus goes on the North Shore is to Hanalei town, so if folks want to make it as far as the Na Pali cost trail, Ke'e Beach or any sights West of Hanalei without a car, this makes it challenging. Many people do "hitch hike", but this is not entirely recommended and is marginally successful.

Hi! We are Lani and Sky and we graciously welcome you to our condos!
Lani has lived on Kauai for much of her life, and was born and raised near Tunnels Beach on the North Shore. Life adventures beyond the islands however, eventually brought her to the mainland and abroad. She spent her high school days in Santa Cruz California before turning interests towards colder climates and getting into skiing. Between travels abroad, Lani worked primarily in outdoor industries for the better part of a decade, mostly kayaking and skiing and living in amazing rural towns. One of her favorite of those towns was Jackson Hole Wyoming, where she lived for several years before moving back to Kauai.
Coincidentally, Sky was born and raised in Jackson Wyoming where he became an avid snowboarder in the winter, fly fisherman in the summer and world traveller whenever possible in between. Despite his mountain upbringing, Sky has always been a and a waterman and was inevitably called to a warmer climate.
Eventually island life, with its enticing warm water and fragrant trade winds beckoned both of us individually to the Garden Island of Kauai where we met in 2011. We've found a happy match as we are both very active and love to explore and laugh. We've found our perfect paradise here on Kauai and wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
As a team we really enjoy sharing what we love about Kauai with our guests and offer our local knowledge and recommendations in addition to providing exceptional quality accommodation. We want to ensure that our guests have as much fun and as little worries as possible on their visits to Kauai.
