A 5-min drive from the park's entrance or downtown, WANDERLAND is a 2,000 sqft home/art gallery located on a dirt road and nestled on 3 acres all its own. Artwork abounds and continually rotates. Rooms are large with an open kitchen, breakfast bar, sunroom and patio with fruit trees. Plenty of expansiveness for a gander or a WANDER with excellent stargazing. The quaint front porch with rose garden and backyard hot tub will greet you home after climbs in the park. ENJOY!! (Tattoos also offered*)

The space
Located on a slope up from Hwy 62 there are FANTASTIC views into the main section of JT, of mountains, Section 6, sunsets, sunrises... Quail, doves and rabbit live on the property and come out mostly at dusk and dawn. Coyotes gather and howl at night. Skies are clear and unobstructed. 5-minute drive to Joshua Tree National Park. Local families populate this neighborhood and enjoy quiet and solitary lives - please respect. NO LOUD PARTIES! NO BONFIRES! NO DRONES! NO PHOTO/VIDEOSHOOTS!

Personal effects will be left in the house. Please be considerate as this is otherwise my primary residence. I use the garage as an art studio so please be careful and REFRAIN FROM USING and/or tracking in paint.

WELCOME! I am most happy to share my home and studio! Be aware that this is otherwise my personal living quarters and place for creating. I am a professional working artist. AirBnB helps me share my space and artwork. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT SOME ARTWORKS ARE GRAPHIC WITH NUDE OR VIOLENT IMAGERY WITH DEPICTIONS OF SEX THAT MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR ALL GUESTS. Artwork changes periodically so be sure to visit multiple times for a new exhibition display. Additional artwork may be viewed online.

Now that I've warned you, please make yourselves at home while I am away. Remotes operate the projector, sound system and video players. The spa maintains itself for your convenience. (Please leave it on at all times.)

The house is conveniently located, only minutes drive to the park entrance and to downtown but far enough away for enjoying peace and quiet underneath DarkSky status. The house is located on 3 acres of solitude.

My home has been thoroughly inspected by San Bernardino County and is certified for short-term rentals. Every safety code has been met including visible fire extinguishers and exit lighting features. Certificate is on display inside the entryway.
