Fully furnished apartment available for short term rental in the heart of Dallas, Texas. Located on the M Streets, near downtown Dallas and Southern Methodist University. Conveniently located within walking distance to the shops, restaurants and bars on Greenville Ave. Minutes from Mockingbird Train Station and the Dallas Arts District.
The apartment is part of a 1940 duplex complete with original retro features. A comfortable, homey alternative to a stuffy hotel! Share a glass of wine in the afternoon with the proprietor on the front porch. Proprietor lives in the adjoining duplex. She’s available if you require assistance.
No smoking, but pet friendly. Perfect for one to two travelers on a budget. Air mattress available on request. The vintage dwelling has window units and space heaters so each room can be adjusted to your liking.
Pam's apartment is spacious, well equipped and gracefully decorated. It's also in a fun neighborhood--very quiet and residential on the street but within walking distance of everything you might want or need. Pam conveniently leaves detailed notes about the many shops and restaurants nearby. Parking is easy, on a small circular drive right in front of the house. I visited with my dog and we encountered many dog walkers on our strolls.
I only stayed one night so didn't have a real opportunity to explore the area as much as I'd like to. Hopefully I'll be back. I recommend this AirBnb.
My husband and I stayed at Pam's lovely home for a week over Easter and absolutely loved our stay. So much more than we expected, although the pictures, description and past reviews, which we read prior to booking, assured us that this was a special home and neighborhood. So easy to find once we arrived at the airport. Instructions were perfect for our entry and to our surprise, there was even a kitchen full of staples and assorted treats for a real welcoming touch. The additional toiletries were quite a surprise and so thoughtful. We so enjoyed meeting Pam after our arrival and she could not have been more gracious and kind. With so much to see and do in DFW, we regret not being able to take more leisurely walks around the beautiful, quiet neighborhood, which was conveniently located a short drive/walk from all the great night spots (and wonderful, fun dining) on Greenville Avenue. With Pam's talented decorating skills and great artwork around the apartment, it made for a very homey and relaxed feel and such a pleasure to come home to. We slept like logs every night in our quiet surroundings, following sightseeing around the city. A great get away in this lovely home in this great city....we will be back! Thank you so much Pam and AIRBNB.

This is our second stay at Pam's Place. She is a lovely and attentive hostess, making her guests feel welcome in Dallas. The apartment is extremely clean with comfortable furniture. The neighborhood is charming and in an excellent location.
Pam's charming home was the perfect spot for our Dallas runaway! It's quaint furnishings and quiet neighborhood provided a very calm and relaxing hideaway. Don't let the quiet neighborhood fool you, though. Her place is really only 2 blocks away from great restaurants and nightlife, and her list of recommendations was very helpful! Pam made sure we had all the comforts of home, most especially wi-fi, a coffee pot, a comfy bed, and a great front porch! Being able to park in the circle drive was a definite plus, too. The best thing about this place, though, is Pam. She's the perfect hostess, greeting us as we arrived, providing us with all we needed plus some nice extras, then leaving us to enjoy our trip. We will return to this spot for certain! P.S. She's also great about locating lost car keys and keeping them in a safe place for you!
Pams space was perfect for our overnight out on the town. The place was immaculate and well layed out. We were just a couple blocks off Greenville and had a great time. Pam was easy going and flexible with our departure time. We will definitely stay here again.
Pam provided lots of information about the apartment in a letter she left for us with the key and she had emailed it to me beforehand. The place was exactly as described. It felt very homey and comfortable. We drove a bit over 3 hours in the rain to get to Dallas from Austin and I was very stressed out by the time we reached the apartment. It was very nice to be in such a great place. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. We'll be back if we stay in Dallas again.
Thank you, Pam, for the enjoyable stay at your historic apartment. The place was clean and inviting. It was a nice quiet escape after all the sight seeing in the hustle and bustle of the city.
I had the distinct honor of being the first guest to leave something in the apartment after dropping the keys off. Pam was very gracious about returning to the apartment to let us back in.
If we ever return to Dallas we would definitely stay at "Pam's Place" again!
I live in Dallas, Texas where I've been for 30 years. I am self employed consulting with a variety of non profit organizations. In my spare time I love to have a glass of wine, good food and good conversation with my friends. I attend classes at the Dallas Yoga Center, take regular walks in the neighborhood and always have a good book nearby.
