Casa Pargo is located on a hillside overlooking a lush green valley, surrounded by jungle, mountains, monkey's and the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean.
We are perfectly located for all of your vacation needs and a car is not really necessary. We are visited daily by 2 types of monkey's, iguanas and all types of beautiful birds. You can sit on your private balcony, or join other guests poolside and watch a gorgeous red sun settle into the Pacific ocean for the night. All of this and we are only a 5 minute walk to the marina, with it's 2 world famous restaurants, or a 10 minute walk to Quepos, where you can find everything you might need, banks, restaurants, gift shops, clothing stores, bakeries, live music, fruit stands, grocery stores and so much more. From Quepos it is only a 10 minute taxi, or bus ride to the Manuel Antonio national park and our lovely beaches.
All 5 apartments are completely furnished, with air conditioning and full kitchens. We have 4 one bedroom units and 1 two bedroom unit. Prices range from $50 a night for El Ranco, our over sized efficiency, to $110 a night for La Vista, our 2 bedroom apartment. I had a really great time here! Marta and Douglas were very helpful and accommodating .... There place is very beautiful and relaxing. Also very close to everything you need .... I would definitely recommend!!
We had the most wonderful stay. Casa Pargo looks exactly like the picture posted. Marta arranged transportation and activities for our stay. The room was clean and we enjoyed the pool and bar space. We did see monkey's during our stay. Marta and Douglas were available to answer questions and provide recommendations when needed. We would stay here again.
Our family (children ages 3 and 7) stayed here and we really enjoyed it, especially the pool, stunning harbor views and easy walk to Quepos. We picked up a lot of delicious fresh fish, fruit and vegetables at the farmers market and were able to cook in the well stocked kitchen and enjoy the hotel all week. It´s really easy to get to Manuel Antonio park on the bus from Quepos too. This is an excellent location with very friendly hosts and we even enjoyed our capuchin monkey wake up call one morning on our balcony! Gracias, Marta y familia!
Marta is very helpful. The room is lovely! And the hiking up and down is a Nice way to enjoy the view.
Casa Pargo is located up a very steep hillside. This means you get a nice view of the marina, but also expect a serious hike to get home. There are iguanas and monkeys all around the site to enjoy with breakfast, but bring your own coffee for the in-room coffee makers. Marta mailed my friend's cell phone home when she forgot it, which was very nice. I would also recommend that guests follow Marta's recommendations for tour guides -- she has a lot of experience in this area.
We spent amazing 5 days staying in Casa Pargo 2-floor apartments! We've got everything we needed for living. The view from our 2nd floor to Quepos marina was incredible. Marta explained details about facilities and Quepos POI-navigation stuff also. Thanks to good vacation!
Btw, we saw monkeys on the balcony indeed)

About the Host, Marta And Douglas
I have a very outgoing personality and love to dance, cook and laugh. I enjoy meeting and helping people. I love to travel throughout my country and other countries as well. My husband Douglas and I have been married for 25 years and have two daughters, Bianca 23 and Sandy 18. Both girls attend the university in San Jose. Both Douglas and I were born and raised in Quepos and we think that with all of the lovely areas in Costa Rica, that the Quepos/Manuel Antonio are is the most beautiful.
I like to dance and cook as well. Although I am not as outgoing as my wife, I do enjoy meeting other people. I have worked for the national electric company "ICE for 27 years as a maintenance supervisor. I like to travel and enjoy seeing other areas of our beautiful country. We slowly built on our property over the years and enjoy sharing it with others. Now with the pool and rancho completed I think we are finally finished.
