On the road between Parma and Fidenza, there is the farm with villa that stretches over a vast area of woods and hills. For racehorse enthusiasts this place represents an important piece of the recent history of international horse racing: with its 75 hectares of undulating paddocks it is still today one of the first horse breeding facilities in Italy. In the Sixties an ancient hunting lodge of Maria Luigia has been converted into a model company for breeding and, later, the training of thoroughbred horses.
Being in the middle of an area rich in history and cities of art, from the villa it is possible to organize excursions on foot, horseback or bicycle through the hills and the first Apennines or, by car, reach the splendid historical centers of Parma.
