You can go on foot to the Louvre, which is 100m.

There is no more central and convenient for exploring the city of light.

The square there are 2 cafes and all around there are many restaurants, this is a neighborhood branch following moves
all the time. You can even eat in restaurants at night because
they never close.
Street Saint Honoré there are many stores for shopping. You can visit on foot monuments that are close to the apartment as the Louvre, the Palais Royal, the Concorde, the Tuilleries, Place Vendôme...

Building overlooks a square, it is typical of parisian architecture and classified ( the old stables were Henri IV ).

What makes my pleasant accommodation is that it's in the heart of Paris very central. transports is next to the apartment, there is a way to develop what you can eat and rest while living like true parisians.

Nice apartment in a great part of the city, loved having the cafés right below, a supermarket just around the corner, and a short walk to the Louvre. Had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location... Slightly noisy with windows open, but only to be expected in the heart of Paris! Lovely stay with our two children aged 6 and 8. Thank you Virginie!

What a great stay at Virginie's place, such a good location, close to all the sights and the hop on hop off bus Depot. Virginie accommodated us for an early check-in which was great! Clean and tidy, a lovely apartment. Bars and restaurants right at your door step, what more could you want. Would recommend!

Virginie's apartment is lovely, finished to a very good standard and in an excellent area of Paris, it is walking distance to a whole host of restaurants and cafés, with a great selection of food shops and boutiques as well. She has supplied virtually everything you may need to cook for yourself, though with all the choices of restaurants within spitting distance, you may not need to! The cafés on the ground floor of the apartment are lovely, though be warned that their noise (and that of traffic) does float up through open windows - not a deal breaker at all considering the excellent location but worth being aware of. Some people may be put off by the way you get to the apartment, it is on the top floor of the building, up 97 steps, so if you have issues walking this may not be the apartment for you. For everyone else, think of how amazing your bum will look after a stay here! Virginie was an excellent communicator and left some great suggestions for places to visit near her home. I'd highly recommend this host and her lovely home to everyone!

This is a very cute, conveniently and centrally located apartment in Paris. Nice views and easy access to many popular sights, cafe right downstairs, etc. A lot of stairs to walk up, though, so be prepared for getting some exercise... It may have been just particular to our stay, but we had some issues with communication and entry procedure with this host. We are non-French speakers, so this may've been part of it. I do think communication could have been stronger and clearer on the host's end, however. The host was not present and had left a phone # on the apartment door for us to call to get the keys. Unfortunately, though, the host did not also inform us that door codes were needed to get into the building - two outer doors - and meanwhile the phone # for the holder of the apartment keys was taped on the apartment door INSIDE of the building; hence, how were we supposed to reach that # if we did not know how to get into the building first (or even know, upon arriving, that door codes would be needed)? Luckily, the waiter in the nearby cafe knew the door code and let us in...the first time. We finally got inside, but then found that the door codes we were given (finally) were not in fact correct - this left us stranded outside of the outer building late one night, after returning from being out sightseeing, etc; we only got back inside that time because another tenant on his way out opened the outer door by chance. We had to call the host's friend again to get the correct door codes, eventually. In short: communication and instructions about entry could have been much clearer in advance of our arrival. The host could also have considered accommodating non-French speakers in her instructions. At least if clearer instructions about outer doors and door codes had been written out somewhere, we could have (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)-translated those. The apartment also had some power issue - one night we had to flip a fuse switch to get the power to come back on. It is an old building, so this is understandable, perhaps. The apartment otherwise has basic amenities needed for a very centrally located stay in Paris.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us. The 4 floor was as described (a lot of stairs) but tiring none the less. We rented bikes outside the front door and used the transit across the street. We would recommend staying here
