This beautiful and charming 73 square meters , 2 Bedroom, apartment is located on Place des deux Ecus in the 1st arrondissement, on the 4 th French floor of a 16th century walk up building and it sleeps 5 people, This apartment is equipped with : washer, dryer, hairdryer, iron, dishwasher, cable, TV, unlimited high speed internet access, wifi, phone, DVD.

You can go on foot to the Louvre, which is 100m.
There is no more central and convenient for exploring the city of light.
The square there are 2 cafes and all around there are many restaurants, this is a neighborhood branch following moves
all the time. You can even eat in restaurants at night because
they never close.
Street Saint Honoré there are many stores for shopping. You can visit on foot monuments that are close to the apartment as the Louvre, the Palais Royal, the Concorde, the Tuilleries, Place Vendôme...
Building overlooks a square, it is typical of parisian architecture and classified ( the old stables were Henri IV ).
What makes my pleasant accommodation is that it's in the heart of Paris very central. transports is next to the apartment, there is a way to develop what you can eat and rest while living like true parisians.

This apartment is fantastic and beautiful! Virginie made us feel very welcomed and gave us quite a few tips about her neighborhood, which is right in the heart of Paris in the 1st District - 5 minute walk to the Louvre, with shops, cafes, bistros, and patisseries on every block. The pictures in the listing are exactly what you get - beautiful! I would highly recommend this apartment if you are visiting Paris!
Virginie made us feel very welcome. She not only met us at the apartment but then stayed for quite a bit of time to familiarize us with the immediate area, local landmarks and even directions to major tourist attractions. She was great to spend the time with us. The apartment was very convenient, clean and had us feeling at home immediately. We didn't mind the 4 flight walk up but it could be challenging for some at the end of a long day walking through this beautiful city.
We had a wonderful time in this superbly equipped apartment. Virginie welcomed us and gave us super information about the local area. Location perfect for discovering Paris on foot. Certainly feel fitter after climbing four sets of stairs! Hope to return in the future. Many thanks to Virginie
Recently stayed at this beaut little apartment! Virginie was very helpful on our arrival and it was very comfortable and homely. Loved the way it was styled from the artwork to the nick knacks! The little gift was sweet too :) the position was ideal for our relatively short stay (on way home from a soccer your in UK and Spain) and very central and close to everything we wanted or needed; yet still quiet given being on the 4th floor. Yes, a few steps but that was ok, mainly out all day so only up and down once each day! A bit of exercise to make up for the wining and dining! Thank you Virginie!
My mother, father, wife, young daughter and I stayed in this apartment for two weeks at the beginning of January. We really enjoyed our stay, and this apartment was a big part of our enjoyment.
The first point is the location. Walking distance to a bunch of world-class attractions, including the Louvre, Palais Royal, Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, and the Pompidou Center. Additionally, the neighborhood around the Pompidou Center is mostly pedestrian-only and is an absolute delight any day of the week. The renovation of Les Halles will also be completed very soon, which would be one more reason to be here. We walked to the shops on Rue Montorgueil several times. There is also a twice-weekly market in front of the Saint Eustache Church that we went to a couple times.
The apartment was just the right size for our group of four adults and one toddler. My mom and dad stayed in the big bedroom, and my wife, daughter and I stayed in the second bedroom, which has two beds, one a double bed and the other a single. The apartment has a full set of appliances, and they all work. We used each of these at least once during our stay: washer, dryer, dishwasher, radiators, oven, stove, microwave. The hot water is very hot, and the water pressure in the shower is great. The shower itself is somewhat awkward, as the showerhead is placed in the middle of the tub, so you are forced to stand in the narrowest part of the bathtub while you shower, unless you want the water to go all over the floor. Wifi is reliable and fast. DartyBox cable package is huge, and the flat screen TV is very nice. We loved the exposed beams in the ceilings of some of the rooms, and overall the apartment is quite nicely decorated. The living room and the big bedroom have a full view of the Place des Deux Ecus. Smaller bedroom looks onto the courtyard of the building.
The biggest downside of this apartment has already been mentioned by almost every reviewer, but those who rent this apartment should be aware that the stairs can be challenging for senior citizens or those with limited mobility.
Virginie is a very gracious host. She was there to meet us when we arrived, and explained all of the details of the apartment for us. On the first rainy day, I messaged her about umbrellas in the apartment, and she replied quickly to let me know where they were located. I highly recommend this apartment to other airbnb guests.
An extremely well-furnished apartment in a perfect location right in the heart of the 1st arrondissement. Châtelet-Les Halles is literally across the street, but the apartment itself is extremely quiet and cozy. Beautiful furnishings, particularly in the living room, and exposed beams on the ceiling. Plus all the modern conveniences, minus of course an elevator--but what were you expecting in an old building in the 1st? Virginie is a good host, and even fixed a problem with the dishwasher (very discreetly!) during our stay, and over New Year's at that. Highly recommended on all counts!
fantastic location - charming apartment with huge main bedroom and twin room for our young girls - great view over the square - good communication with Virginie - the 96 steps up mean you can have an extra guilt-free croissant a day - several powerpoints and lights not working but I suppose that's to be expected in an old building - eat at petit plats d'emile around the corner (simple food but excellent and great wait staff) - take Virginie's tip
and use gosselin as your boulangerie - buy your wine from the local nicholas on rue de rivoli who'll steer you in the right direction
