You can go on foot to the Louvre, which is 100m.
There is no more central and convenient for exploring the city of light.
The square there are 2 cafes and all around there are many restaurants, this is a neighborhood branch following moves
all the time. You can even eat in restaurants at night because
they never close.
Street Saint Honoré there are many stores for shopping. You can visit on foot monuments that are close to the apartment as the Louvre, the Palais Royal, the Concorde, the Tuilleries, Place Vendôme...
Building overlooks a square, it is typical of parisian architecture and classified ( the old stables were Henri IV ).
What makes my pleasant accommodation is that it's in the heart of Paris very central. transports is next to the apartment, there is a way to develop what you can eat and rest while living like true parisians.

We had an excellent stay at Virginie's comfortable apartment, which is perfectly situated in the 1st Arr, near shops, restaurants, museums, the Seine, le Metro. The 2 bedrooms make it an excellent choice for families or two couples. The main areas of the apartment (well-equipped kitchen, dining/living rooms) are spacious and very charming. Lots of stairs mean that you can feel less guilty about eating fabulous French patries. Virginie is a very thoughtful host. We would definitely stay again..
The room is as displayed in the pictures. Gret location because youre in the middle of paris.
Virginie hat uns ausführlich über die Wohnung und die Nachbarschaft informiert. Die Wohnung liegt ideal: ganz zentral, mit einem "typisch pariserischen" Blick aus dem Fenster.
If you want to spend time in Paris, this is the place to go. Virginie's apartment is perfectly located in the heart of Paris- you can literally walk everywhere. Viriginie is a wonderful host, sharing valuable information with us upon arrival, including historical facts about the building we were staying in (built in the 1600!!!- those are the original boards you see in the pictures!). We will be recommeding Virginie's apartment to everyone we know.
Virginie was a terrific host. She greeted us and went over all the details of the apt. Unfortunately it was too much info to retain. She gave us a list of nearby restaurants. Great Paris location!
This was my first experience with airbnb and I don't know that I will be back. The apt. was not as nice as I had expected from the pictures, description and emails with Virginie. The 2nd bedroom only had one double bed (I thought there were 2) and my son said there was a bar that went across that was quite uncomfortable. The other bed was a twin. My daughter said Virginie's picture of the room was magic - it was much smaller than I had thought it would be. The sheets on my bed in the big bedroom were pilly and she would not give us additional towels. The bathroom sink was clogged. I emailed Virginie immediately. She came by two days later but it was never fixed. Also the stairs (yes five flights as promised) smelled and had threadbare carpet. Again I was expecting more luxurious accommodations. I could not sleep with all the motorcycle noise. It was billed as quiet - was this me? Don't know.
I was unpleasantly surprised by your comment.
You are the only one since I was on Airbnb who did not appreciate his short stay at home.
If you pick a building with luxury, go elsewhere because mine is the 16 th century with character and history and I'm sorry to give you too much informations for you to have a good time.
This apartment is fantastic and beautiful! Virginie made us feel very welcomed and gave us quite a few tips about her neighborhood, which is right in the heart of Paris in the 1st District - 5 minute walk to the Louvre, with shops, cafes, bistros, and patisseries on every block. The pictures in the listing are exactly what you get - beautiful! I would highly recommend this apartment if you are visiting Paris!
