Nicolas was an excellent host. He arranged a pick-up from the airport, provided helpful advice for my time in Larnaca, and he stayed up to talk with me. His apartment is within walking distance from the city, and the room has everything you need. Highly recommended.
Value for money, the room is not a luxury one but clean and functional and Nicolas is a very helpful and responsive host with a great culture. Anyway I don’t recommend the room if you don’t have a car, because it is quite far from the centre from Larnaca and also from the supermarket.
Hi Albarosa and thanks for being such a wonderful guest. However supermarkets are not far from here as there are THREE of them at a 5 - 6 minutes walk plus a 24/24 hour bakery/mini market that never closes.
As for the city centre as I mention in the listing it is a little far at a 15 - 20 minute walk while the beach is at a 30 minute walk but at the same time this area is well connected by public transport and there are FOUR regular and punctual buses that all go directly to the centre and the beach, the (phone number hidden) and 427! Surprisingly almost all guests without a car seem to enjoy walking there rather than take a bus.
Nicolas was a great. He went above and beyond to make me feel welcome! He hooked me up with some great spots and made sure that the locals didn't take advantage of me!
I selected my travel destination, bought my airline tickets and booked accommodations all at the last minute, less than a week before I left. So, in selecting this accommodation, I scanned for the first listing I could find with the word "quiet" in the description, and booked it. It didn't disappoint ... the flat is located in a quiet neighborhood outside the city centre, the bed was comfortable, and the host cooked a great breakfast, was very helpful with advice, and even took me on two fantastic day trips in his personal car, for a very reasonable price.
Nicolas is a wonderful host and true gentleman. While planning my trip any question was answered very detailed. Upon arrival Nicolas picked me up from the bus stop, which gave a warm welcome into his home and town, and at the end drove me to the airport.
The first evening we sat over a map, with Nicolas providing all the details for sight seeing and pin pointing interesting sites.
The room is very spacious and clean with comfortable beds, including it's own toilet and shower unit - tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. It provides the ultimate conditions for a good night rest.
Great host as already confirmed by many other guests. Nice and quiet, away from the city noise. Room is very spacious, clean, has a bathroom so no need to get out. Also has acces to terace through a backdoor. The dog and the cats are also a great asset for the spirit ;). Great experience overall.
