We had a lovely time in Holland staying at Lori's home. We booked much in advance and Lori was always quick to answer any questions and queries. Naarden is a great little town, very much worth a visit, especially Naarden Vesting and the Weegschaal Museum. It is very close to basically everything in Holland, we drove to Belgium and Germany and It was a perfect place to rest after long days of sightseeing. The home was well organized with everything you could possibly need in a nice quiet neighborhood with all the stores you may need close by. A "warme bakker" a supermarket, fish store a butcher and even a hairdresser.
The house is as nice as described, perfectly equipped (kitchen and washing machine/tumbler), spacious and cosy, all in nice design. It is all very clean and neat. The neighborhood is calm, green and a bakery and supermarket in walking distance. The old part of Naarden is close by and an attraction on his own with nice streets, shops and a market on Saturdays. We found a warm welcome letter on our arrival and a booklet with various recommendations and helpful information compiled by Lori. The spot is ideal to explore a big part of The Netherlands by train and by car. We can really recommend this house for a family.
It's hard to imagine a more perfect AirBnB experience than staying in Lori's beautiful house in Naarden. The neighbourhood itself is wonderful - so quiet and peaceful yet with all amenities close by, and with the old town of Naarden Vesting just a short walk away. The house itself feels like 'home' and has everything a guest could possibly want, all of it immaculately maintained and some of it simply sensational - starting with the great central heating and the fridge of everyone's dreams, but extending to all the other appliances as well. And Lori herself is such a great host, always responding to e-mails immediately and in our case, recommending an incredible local bike shop who salvaged our trip after our bikes has been destroyed on the flight over. We were very sad to leave such a lovely place in such a friendly and conveniently-located town, and intend to return as soon as possible. Thanks Lori.

Lori was a very accommodating host. She left explicit instructions on how to make ourselves comfortable in her home. Her house is clean and comfortable. Our two little girls really enjoyed playing with her children's toys and reading their books. The location in Naarden provided for a very unique experience. Amsterdam was also not far away by car. we would definitely stay here again if visiting Amsterdam.
About the Host, Lori
Originally from SF Bay Area, I'm American and have lived and worked in the Netherlands for the last 20 years. I work at a university in Amsterdam and travel a lot. Naarden is a terrific place. I've lived here for the past 15 years. Close to Amsterdam but far enough away to relax. I hope to be able to host you if you plan to visit the Amsterdam area.
