About this listing
This private Ohana is at a cool elevation with an ocean sunset view from the hot tub. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood 10 min from the airport and 15 minutes to town, with easy access to the belt highway and white sand beaches.
A lounge like feel with pool, foosball, and pingpong tables inside, compliment the pool bar, hot tub, basketball hoop, and horseshoe pits outside. Private room and bath, as well as an outdoor shower. At 1300 ft of elevation it's the perfect temperature day and night. Birds sing at sunrise and sunset, and the neighborhood is quiet all day long.
The kitchen is complete with juicer, blender, french press, and steamer/rice cooker. Available high speed internet, Wi-Fi, and basic cable on large flat screen TV. The lanai, with an expansive view and BBQ grill, has ample seating and table space. Private entrance and yard.
Interaction with Guests
I may, or may not be present for check in, so if you have a preference, I will gladly accommodate.
There are folks living in the upsatirs of the house. They are rarely present, and will stay in their space, as must you.
I love playing tour guide, so if you're interested, I am for hire. I've become very familiar with the island and have access to many remote destinations.
If you have questions, please ask.
Location, privacy, and comfort are the highlights of this spot I call home. Close to everything, yet secluded in a nice neighborhood.
Rental vehicle recommended, unless taxi cabs are prefered.
Hele-On bus stop nearby. I advise that their routes and schedules are researched before relying on this method of transportation.
Again, I am for hire as a guide, as well.
Life is good.
We're lucky to be able to enjoy Hawai'i. This island is spectacular.
The climates and terrain vary in so many ways, and the mountains and the ocean offer such a wide variety of exciting activities. I love that it's possible to snorkel with dolphins or sharks, go surf with friends, and then going for an amazing hike through the rainforest, all before lunch. I'm sold on the Big Island.
