Jane and Warren were wonderful hosts, and the rooms in their gorgeous historic house were beautiful and very clean! They served a delicious full breakfast every morning, culminating in a terrific lobster omelet on the last day. The bed was comfortable. The house was well-located, bearing in mind that you do need a car if you want to explore the whole Kennebunk area. The best part was the friendliness...and the conversation. We would definitely stay with them again. The only thing missing was access to a washing machine....helpful for the longer stay. But still, A+++++.
Jane and Warren's house is lovely, and they were excellent hosts. They gave us directions to a beautiful and uncrowded beach, and lent us beach chairs and a boogie board. The breakfasts were delicious.
The layout of their rooms is very good for a variety of group situations. There's only one bathroom, but otherwise the two larger bedrooms (of which we only used one) are well separated and there's plenty of privacy. The smaller bedroom is just off of the master bedroom and it worked really well for our 3-year-old -- it was dark and quiet; she slept late; she liked being so close to us.
Great house with a historical atmosphere.
Jane and Warren were very friendly, open and helpful.
They prepared nice breakfast everyday.
We felt welcome and enjoyed our stay in Kennebunk.
Jane and Warren have a wonderful home in a beautiful location. Accommodations were perfect for our family group. Breakfasts were great. We had a great time using their home as a base for our Maine adventures.
Jane and Warren were great hosts. We had an entire side of their home to ourselves and were able to stay up late chatting without fear of making too much noise and keeping them up.
Our breakfasts were delicious!
Jane and Warren King have much more than a lovely, convenient home with nice amenities, they have a true and deep understanding of hospitality. They are also excellent breakfast chefs!
Jane and Warren were wonderful hosts during our trip to Maine. A great location to explore the beautifu costline, Kennebunk is definately worth a place on your list, and a hearty breakfast from Warren and Jane will help.
Jane and Warren are delightful hosts. Our accommodations were spacious, spotless and quite comfortable, especially the high-quality mattress. There was a refrigerator, coffee maker and hair dryer as well, along with WiFi that worked wonderfully. Breakfasts were delicious and varied: fresh fruit, an egg or pancake dish, and varied meats along with jam, butter, coffee, etc. served with whimsical pottery. We had some wonderful chats and they guided us to local attractions. We highly recommend this historic and comfortable home. When in the area, we hope to stay here again.
