We had a great time in Kennebunk This is a very nice place to stay. The private front room is a cozy place to read a book or play cards. Jean and Warren greeted us as old friends. We arrived later then we had planned and they they were still very gracious. The breakfasts were home made and delicious. We will be staying here on our next trip.
Jane & Warren were lovely hosts. They were very quick to respond to our initial inquiry and very helpful. Upon arrival the house was exactly as described and the historic atmosphere definitely added to the trip. The room set up worked wonderfully for out group (1 couple and 2 friends). The location was also ideal as it is close to beaches, restaurants and shops.
The breakfasts were delicious, much better than you would find in any hotel. They obviously have excellent taste in food and were very helpful in directing us to nearby restaurants to try. I would definitely stay with them again!
Jane and Warren were welcoming and friendly, while respecting our privacy. The bedrooms were large, comfortable and quiet. The beautiful beach is about 3 miles away. The village is walking distance.
Jane & Warren are very nice and welcoming. It was my mom's 60th birthday, and they made a coffee cake with candles for breakfast to start celebrating early!! They had great recommendations for things to do and were flexible with our different arrival and departure times. They kept a clean home and served delicious breakfast. Excellent stay and excellent hosts!
Jane and Warren were wonderful hosts, and the rooms in their gorgeous historic house were beautiful and very clean! They served a delicious full breakfast every morning, culminating in a terrific lobster omelet on the last day. The bed was comfortable. The house was well-located, bearing in mind that you do need a car if you want to explore the whole Kennebunk area. The best part was the friendliness...and the conversation. We would definitely stay with them again. The only thing missing was access to a washing machine....helpful for the longer stay. But still, A+++++.
Jane and Warren's house is lovely, and they were excellent hosts. They gave us directions to a beautiful and uncrowded beach, and lent us beach chairs and a boogie board. The breakfasts were delicious.
The layout of their rooms is very good for a variety of group situations. There's only one bathroom, but otherwise the two larger bedrooms (of which we only used one) are well separated and there's plenty of privacy. The smaller bedroom is just off of the master bedroom and it worked really well for our 3-year-old -- it was dark and quiet; she slept late; she liked being so close to us.
Great house with a historical atmosphere.
Jane and Warren were very friendly, open and helpful.
They prepared nice breakfast everyday.
We felt welcome and enjoyed our stay in Kennebunk.
Enthusiastic history fans, we love sharing our beautiful antique Colonial home with guests, and cooking them delicious breakfasts. Warren is Music Director at a local UCC/UMC church, and Jane is secretary there.
