It was a good staying. The place was very clean and spacious. The location is very convenient with close subway stations and food store, walking distance to time square, and good restarants nearby.
It was a bit cold in the early morning, but overall I'm satisfied with the place. :-)
Great location! Plenty of space inside the apartment, especially considering you're smack in the middle of the city. The whole booking experience with Gal was smooth, professional and accommodating. The apartment itself does feel a little tired, has a strange odor at times, and is very warm (I stayed in January - temperature cannot be regulated, but you can open windows). However, overall I was happy with my stay there and would recommend it to others if you're looking for a spacious space with the basics, located in a great area, with very minimal noise from the neighbors or the street.
Gal was a great host! He was there to welcome me upon arrival, provided info about the surrounding area, and he made sure the entire place was clean before I showed up.
The location of Gal's apartment is excellent! There is a lot of stuff to walk to and the unit itself is quite spacious. Also, you'll be hard pressed to find a better nightly rate in Manhattan than what Gal offers.
I would highly recommend staying at Gal's apartment! Great host, great location, great price!
Clean, quiet, comfortable, nicely equipped, and a great location.
On a partagé à 2 cet appartement pendant 4 nuits.
Gal was a very flexible host. He let us leave our luggage longer than agreed.
His apartment is very well situated in a beautiful neighborhood with nice restaurants, shops and bars!
I would definitely come back!
The apartment was in a great location, with the subway right at the doorstep and lots of restaurants and the Chelsea Market within easy walking distance. It was well maintained with everything you should need for a weekend stay. Gal was a great host and connected with us mid way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. There were a lot of strange sounds (clattering that sounded like it was from the pipes and a noisy radiator) that seemed to start up around 5am. Luckily it didn't bother me too much as I always travel with earplugs. Despite that, it was a great place and I would recommend it to others.
Very well located with lots of places to eat and walk nearby. Gal was a very gracious and helpful host.
Gal's apartment is exactly like it describes. It is in a good location, many good restaurants nearby, many stores are close, you can walk 5 minutes and you are in the highline park or Chelsea Market.
Besides, Gal was very kind and gave me many tips.
We (my mum, my sister and I) stayed in Gal's apartment for a week during October. The flat's location is excellent, very close to Chelsea market, the highline and the meatpacking district. Such a nice part of town. Gal was very helpful and flexible with the check in, even leaving a cake for my mum as it was her birthday which was lovely!
The flat itself is ok, maybe a little tired in decor/facilities, but the thing to note most is that it is very noisy - the heating was coming on (possibly for the first time as it was just getting cold as we were there) and it was like someone was hitting the pipes with a hammer at 4-6am every day. That combined with the upstairs flat having some work done (hammering/drilling) and the noise of people going up & down the stairs at odd hours meant that we didn't get much sleep overall.
It was a great week and we really enjoyed the stay, but the flat wasn't ideal for what we needed (we weren't out partying with everyone else basically!).
