Stay in an 1872 adobe in the Barrio Historico (Barrio Viejo). You will have exclusive use of two old adobe rooms and a bathroom and access to a private interior courtyard, living room, and dining room. Enjoy your morning coffee in the private courtyard, a good read in the living room, or relax in the evening in your private den/TV room. Mr. Jack will visit only upon request.
Walk to the Tucson Convention Center, Downtown, 4th Avenue shopping district, Tucson Museum of Art, and Old Town Artisans in the El Presidio Historic District or take a short drive to the University of Arizona. Visit the DeGrazia’s Gallery in the Sun, enjoy hiking at Sabino and Bear Canyons, a spectacular drive to Mt. Lemon, or stroll the Barrio and visit the Cushing Street Bar & Restaurant for food, libations, and live music.
The original front rooms of Casa de Adobe were built in 1872 by a couple who operated a pawn shop. They are constructed of old adobe (dirt, stone, straw, and water formed into large bricks and baked in the sun) with walls over two feet thick. The house was completely renovated in 1995.
There is an upstairs with a master bedroom where Mr. Jack and I rest our heads and a roof top deck. This area of the house is private.
Easy access to Hwy 10 and 19. Approximately 20 minutes from Tucson International Airport.
Directv, WiFI, Linens and towels provided.

The overall experience with Carol was good. Her home was cute and clean and very welcoming. Carol was accommodating to our busy schedule and even made us some delicious almond Lacey cookies. It was a pleasant experience!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wonderful home, great host
I was a wonderful to expereience historic Tucson A far cry from the tourist trade. Loved walking through the historic old barrio (neigborhood) and the proximity to everywhere was great. Carol was a wonderful host. And bakes great cookies.
everything was perfect!
It was a real pleasure to stay with Carol. She really was a perfect host. Friendly and knowledgeable, without being at all intrusive.
The house is super cute and clean in the most charming neighborhood.
It was the perfect location, close to the convention center and downtown.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Carol was an incredibly gracious host and her home is beautiful. It is in one of Tucson's oldest and arguably most interesting neighborhoods. If I ever return to Tucson, I will likely stay at Carol's place again.
